When we got to Cook's meadow I was hoping to immediately see the elm tree. Michael Frye's pictures of it, like this one, suggest that it must be really easy to find. Not so fast! This is one of the possible candidates, but his looks much more isolated. Also see Rochelle's beautiful version of this one taken about three weeks later. I still don't know if this is the right tree, but it is a wonderful tree nonetheless.

I won't be around tomorrow, so all of you in US, have a very Happy Thanksgiving!
