If you are staying at the Lotus Palace, spending a bit extra on a suite is definitely recommended.
Like in the rest of the hotel, the detail is incredible. But with a suite you get a bedroom with a four poster bed a courtyard with small pool, a huge living and dining room, and a mini spa with jacuzzi, shower and massage tables.
