I don't do self-portraits very often and seldom show them to anyone. However, I quite like this one which believe it or not, was entirely deliberate!
My First Selfie is a self initiative charity project by married couple Reuben Teo and Fann Saw.
Our primary aim is to provide the kids from poverty-stricken villages in Siem Reap an opportunity to own photographs of themselves for FREE. We will be travelling to as many villages as we can, to meet these children and photograph them.

Sort of a missed day as I was busy traveling back home from my parent's house as the holidays come to an end. I did find interest in the shape I made in a random selfie I took to check my makeup.
Playing around taking a rare selfie I took for my profile pic. Camera in picture is my new Nikon D810 with a Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 VC lens.
Picture: Taken with a Nikon D90 and Nikon 18-35mm f/3.5-4.5 lens shutter:1/100 @ f/20 ISO@200 focal length:35mm. Two speedlights radio flashed in manual mode with Phottix Ares triggers. Main speedlight Metz Mecablitz 52 AF-2 for Nikon (set to Manual) inside 26" Westcott Rapid Box with beauty dish (I need beauty ;-) left and Nikon SB-700 left set at manual 1/64 for a little eye cacthlight glimmer.
I choose such a small aperture (large F stop number) and low ISO for not only sharpness but to block out the light as it was actual daylight in the room. Processed RAW in Lightroom 5.6 and Perfect Black and White 8.
