A nice, dark and rustic house Mr. Jim Sisko treated me to on his tour of his area. Even had the audience of a man in a red truck that parked in front of us on the highway without getting out of his truck until we left. Wouldn't think this house would have security.

Oh, no, leaves are slowly starting to change or turn rustic, fall and drift across the lake which means lots of leaf photos. :) Hoping for some more pristine ones soon.

A first-winter male Rustic Bunting at Thursley Common - Surrey. A rarity in Britain, this bird has been wintering on Thursley Common for several weeks along with several other members of its genus; mainly Reed Buntings but including an equally rare Little Bunting!

A very skulking bird to photograph as it kept hidden for most of the time only emerging for a short period, although the lighting conditions hardly helped!

Sucker for vintage! It just opens up another world where I envision the history behind the object/subject. I need time to go through the emotions, even though is a made up story in my head 😆😁

Taken somewhere in northwest Iowa on a meandering drive on gravel roads.

Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns.

This photograph was taken on a very hot afternoon last October in the village of Lofou in the Troodos Mountains of Cyprus. The street caught my attention as it was quiet and I like the rustic charm it exudes.

Winter has tightened its grip in the last few days and I need a reminder that we are on our way to better weather - so thought this photograph was appropriate! In the Northern Hemisphere we are at least on the downward slope to warmer times as nature starts to wake up from its winter sleep. Have visited a couple of National Trust properties recently where bulbs are already pushing up through the ground!

Looks like a great place to have lunch.

We <3 RP is back with a new look and we're proud to be there with our new Rustic Rockbath!

Whats more romantic than laying with your lover in front of a roaring fire? Doing it in the steaming bath hand carved from ancient rocks. Our Rockbath comes in PG and Adult versions and is 11Li.

There' still a lot of old rustic partly or wholly abandoned buildings around the countryside in Finland, reminding of the old log building style. These are found around Seinäjoki.

I tried a new method of making biscotti. Actually it may be the old, traditional method. I discovered it when I watched a little elderly Italian lady named Nonna Pia.. so I wanted to try it. I love the lovely rustic look of it!! It is not as hard and difficult to bite into either.... yep... my new method is probably the ancient tried and true method! Thanks Nonna Pia..!

This is the first day up for our homemade feeder. It usually takes longer for the birds to accept a new feeder but this little guy gave it the junco seal of approval within an hour.

Wonderful old rustic church door and window in a hilltop town south of Alicante, Spain.

I shot this on the bluff. I have posted a few from that walk and the rest are on my blog. I have some shots from yesterday I want to post tomorrow so I am putting these to rest. =)

Rustic is beautiful. The air is breezy most of the time, the shallow water of the sea is only metres away. At night, you can hear the whispers of the wind, and the constant but soft rumbling of the sea as the gentle waves come ashore. Life is simple and beautiful... rustic in every sense of the word.

This photo was taken within the compound of a travellers inn, about 20 minutes' drive from Kota Kinabalu. Yes, I heard the whispers and the rumbling. My room was just above those stilts.

I'm not quite sure where this was taken. From what I could tell, it's located on a stretch about 35 miles east of Durango, on highway 160, running through the southern portion of the Rio Grande National Forest. I love capturing rustic barns, and this one just seemed to be calling my name! LOL Hope you enjoy!

My last shot of farm-ware was of the three abandoned silos off Highway #66 and now to go sideways again and again. Perhaps you have some storage containers returning to rust. Everything is going to rust around here, including this boxcar. Some grain storage in the valley is rather personalized like this lockable ensilage and crop storage device from the Sante Fe Storage Systems Company. It looks like the wheels ran away and they had to set it on the cinder blocks.

I found a blank sky at the old Broley Dairy Farm, and wandered around with my old camera and now it is going to edited permanent backup. I have a lot more shots out at Ronnie's at the old Broley Dairy Farm. I did get more shots on premium sky and foliage days later. In the meantime, this interesting farm storage system.

I've seen many things everywhere along my paths on display in the Rockies. My day stretched out nicely as I travel back and found several hits on rural routes on my way home and some captures I really liked. The day is stretching on. With so many snaps in my directories, pictures are everywhere though there was no possible room to park at Golden Ponds yesterday. Maybe a new shot next.
