For a donation members could get all of the ice cream, rootbeer floats, popcorn and cotton candy they could handle, with all of the funds raised going towards City of Hope’s medical innovations.

The taste of my childhood! 'A&W' has since became 'extinct' in Singapore - a dinosaur, so to speak. But here in Okinawa, with its huge US military presence, 'A&W' is thriving and well.

This was the indulgence taste of my childhood - a thick mug of root beer with ice cream on top. The sweet, caramelic, slight medicinal taste of the room beer, worked really well with the creaminess of the ice cream and it was satisfaction guaranteed to down a frosty mug on a typical hot & muggy Singaporean afternoon!

I had to try the root beer float at the White Turkey Drive-In. That turned out to be a challenge.

How do you consume this? The straw wouldn't go through without tipping the ice cream or forcing the root beer to spill. Scraping the ice cream with a spoon also led to tipping and spilling. The ice cream and root beer tasted good but eating and drinking the float was a sticky mess.

I've been on a pretty big root beer float kick. So nom-able.

I have a tendency to put a whole lot of ice cream in them, and not leave much room for root beer, haha.

Then when Justin calls it "boot rear" I tell him I'm going to boot his rear.

I wasn't *as* sleepy today, but definitely sleepier than usual.

Picked up a couple hours of work tomorrow morning, we took over an old garage downtown, and it's the first day, so the boss is super concerned with making sure it goes off without a hitch.

Today at work, I learned a whole lot about laminating. Haha.

Well, bedtime.
