I see fire, feel the heat upon my skin

And I see fire burn auburn on the mountain side

take a rest from our thoughts

take a brake from this world

a few month ago i stumbled across www.AlastairHumphreys.com book about #microadventures

i loved the idea and so we went on our first „5to9 microadventure“. from our house we see the mount löwenburg, so we walked to the hilltop and slept there in our sleeping bags. it was a fantastic experience!!!

They gathered to look for the new gifts and give thanks. Sometimes it was a new leaf. Sometimes a nut or pinecone. Often there were twigs and small branches covered in moss and gray lichen. On really wondrous days the whole body of an old one fell. The warm humus carpeted their way as they discovered what the towering gods above had graced them with.

Day 2

The camera was etched like a sacred symbol on an otherwise plain tomb at Lafayette Cemetery No. 1 in New Orleans. I'd love to know the story behind it. I should have written down the name on the tomb and researched it. Perhaps it was a well known photographer.
