I just returned from an amazing vacation in Mexico, and this was the first of a few shots that initially jumped out at me. A group of family and friends stayed at the Occidental Grand Xcaret Resort, located in the Riveria Maya area of Mexico, and this was the adults only ocean pool during sunrise. I had extended the exposure to a total of 58 seconds using a 3-stop Kenko Pro-1D ND filter and a combination of a Lee .6 Soft GND and Lee .6 Hard GND filters to balance out the light.
Taken with a NIkon D7000 and Nikkor AF-S 10-24mm wide angle lens.

Hard Rock Cafe Riviera Maya is a tourism and resort district in Mexico. Riviera Maya straddles the coastal Highway 307 along the Caribbean coastline of the state of Quintana Roo, located on the eastern portion of the Yucatán Peninsula. This district historically started at the city of Playa del Carmen and ended at the village of Tulum, although the towns of Puerto Morelos situated to the north and between Playa del Carmen and Cancun as well as the town of Felipe Carrillo Puerto situated 40 kilometres (25 mi) to the south of Tulum are both currently being promoted as part of the Riviera Maya tourist corridor. Hard Rock Cafe was unique and special. While we went to attend a beautiful wedding of my wife's nephew, we rested for few days and the experience and atmosphere were incredible.
