From the ground,
rising up toward you.
Filled with all the strength I've found,
There's nothin' I can't do...
Wittdün, Amrum, 2019.
This series of landscape photographs is inspired by the gloomy prospect of rising sea levels due to the ongoing global warming. When I look at these images, I find it easier to imagine a submerged world flooded by the rising sea.
I don't know about you, but this notion gives me the creeps.

Enjoy!
An early start around the lakes at Harleston. The mist was low and the sun fought with it. In the end the sun won, here are the early rounds.
Unfortunately the Red Moon Eclipse from Nov 19 was not visible in Germany, so I took my foto of the wonderful red moon from April.
This was the shot I was waiting for. The moment when the sun appears just above the horizon and bathes the landscape in its gentle warmth. The rocks are covered with orange lichen and they seem to glow a deep rusty colour in the feint light.
My attempt at the "Macro Mondays" theme "Star".
Showing the tip of a torx-bit, around 2.5 mm in diameter!
Shot with a (Tomioka) "Tominon MC 48 mm F 4" (enlarging) lens on a Canon EOS R5.

The new atop the old. Expansion/extension to the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. No. 3 of the Hospital Walk Series.
When I visited Laugharne in Wales, there was an unusually high tide. Although warning signs were posted in the parking lot near the castle, some people didn't get the message & disaster ensued. As the old saying goes, "A rising tide lifts all boats" ... but cars ... maybe not!

There are two different kinds of people in the world. There are people who instinctively look for every chance to be a “victim” and those who look for every chance to rise above—regardless of where they are in life and what’s happening around them. There are people who realize their ability to create (greatly influence) reality toward a positive direction for themselves and those around them, and unfortunately those who use this power we all have for destructive purposes for themselves and others—many times without even knowing what they’re doing or the power they have inside themselves. We are all powerful individuals. Let’s use that power to create something beautiful!
