A gently incoming tide just creeping up Achnahaird beach on our last evening, with a low sun lighting upthe cloud on the ridges. As usual, no one else was about, it was all quite magical. Rising sea by the Strange Death of Liberal England is appropriate in many ways!!

Each struggle is unique to you, but you are not alone.
We all deserve to be loved the right way, and for all the right reasons.

Captured another waning gibbous moon. She rose really fast, by the time I put the camera on the tripod, she already moved way above the rooftop.
This is a blend of two exposures, the moon was captured at f/16, 2 sec, ISO 100.
Last month's waning gibbous moon can be seen here.

Right after takeoff early morning from Cardak Airport in the southwest Turkish city of Denizli.
This picture has a companion in my photo stream which is shot within seconds before or after this. Look for it as well.

... this morning at the Exe Estuary, from Starcross, Devon, England, as the sun rose above and illuminated a bank of fog over the estuary. [As taken.]

Such a wonderful sky yesterday morning at sunrise, I decided to capture the posts, which are located to the right of Steetley Pier. Ive not been able to get quite so close previously but the low tide gave me the opportunity.
I'm not entirely sure what these structures were used for but they take a pounding from the sea and still appear vertical.
The view you can see is looking toward the Headland (Old Hartlepool)
More photos of the wonderful exhibition I went to yesterday.
Featuring 30 First Peoples artists and collectives, this sprawling exhibition serves as the physical and spiritual centre of Rising 2023, immersing visitors in Ancestral knowledge systems.

ONE BILLION RISING 2021: RISING GARDENS CAMPAIGN
1 in 3 women across the planet will be beaten or raped during her lifetime. That’s ONE BILLION WOMEN AND GIRLS. Every February, we rise – in countries across the world – to show our local communities and the world what one billion looks like and shine a light on the rampant impunity and injustice that survivors most often face. We rise through dance to express joy and community and celebrate the fact that we have not been defeated by this violence. We rise to show we are determined to create a new kind of consciousness – one where violence will be resisted until it is unthinkable.
Stenodde, Germany, 2019.
This series of landscape photographs is inspired by the gloomy prospect of rising sea levels due to the ongoing global warming. When I look at these images, I find it easier to imagine a submerged world flooded by the rising sea.
I don't know about you, but this notion gives me the creeps.
