Tiny Terror.

The official TLG Mini Cooper set was nothing short of brilliant, and a pure joy to build. I loved everything about it, and I mean everything. It’s a magical little thing.

So of course that meant that I needed to tear it apart and rebuild it into a little monster with some attitude!

I hope you enjoy!

Street Muscle Legends - Chapter 3

The Torino Talladega was one of Ford's first forays into producing track-focused homologation models intended to dominate the racing scene. The Talladega changed the muscle car landscape by being the first limited production car to incorporate design changes based on wind tunnel testing into both the silhouette, side rocker panels and front fascia of the car, all leading to significant performance enhancements and legendary status. The PYP garage has been humming along all week to the tune of this beastly hunk of 60's muscle and the smiles just keep coming.

This handsome dark and brooding figure is a ’69 Mustang Boss 302 that’s been hit with the Shakotan stick.

A clean and low stance coupled with an outboard hi pass oil cooler suggest one might want to think twice before messing with The Boss.

If you follow me, you know I have deep love for the 911 silhouette.

My previous 911 Restomod build was a development concept for creating building instructions, and this red example helped me refine my design as well as dial in a satisfying build experience.

Now you can build your very own Porsche 911 Classic as seen here using my building instructions, now available on rebrickable at the link below. The instructions include the full build with room for a minifig driver, optional alternate wheels (as shown here) and detailing tips.

Dark and Stormy.

The classic G body 911 has always been a sacred thing to me. It was love at first sight, and the passion for the 911 silhouette has never left me.

This build is an homage to that very silhouette, and just might be as close as I ever come to owning one. It was important to me that the build felt unique to my style and distinct from the other talented builders who have already produced very excellent 911 designs. I kept it clean and traditional with some classic chrome accents, and twisted it just a little with some stance and attitude influenced by @button_built x @brixtonforged x @mr.simonsson.

May the flat six be with you.

High quality building instructions for this design will be available very soon!

I hope you enjoy!

Took my first test shot today. Waiting for the negative to dry. Seems to have focused correctly, and the shutter speeds might be about right. The lens board is temporary (In Brian time temporary could be a year). I plan to have one made out of Al with some tilt.

It started out as a brick with the shutter not working, so the fact that I was able to get an image out of it makes me happy. :)

Using the SLR mirror it will focus from 2 feet to about 12 feet. From 12 feet to infinity, I have to use the ground glass on the back to focus.

My brother Doug and I made a visit on September 19, 2020 to the Early Ford V8 Museum in Auburn, Indiana. This sporty convertible sedan has recently been restomoded, with the addition of an automatic transmission, dual exhaust and this rich leather interior, among other modifications. The first ever National Woodie Club National Meet, held on September 30, 2017 at Ford Field in Dearborn, Michigan. A fine selection of beautiful woodies were in attendance on a gorgeous autumn day.

The teardrop camper was entirely home-built, as was the woodie body. Amazing craftsmanship exercised by the owner. The wood was crafted from trees on the owner's property. That is more work than I could imagine doing.

Fabulous Firs.

Mr Jon Elliott recently wrapped up a west coast vacation with a visit to Cars & Coffee. We needed help getting the last holiday tree in place and Jon was perfectly equipped to pitch in with his ultra-classy restomod Vantage V8. Cheers, Jon!

This build is an extensively modified version of Jon Elliott’s regal Aston Martin Vantage kit. I upgraded all the light bluish gray elements to chrome, altered the roofline to accommodate Santa Jon, added a utility roof rack, and stanced it on chrome wheels which also appear here with super premium extra flair due to some absolutely brilliant BBS wheel inserts designed by @Prototyp.

I hope you enjoy and Happy Holidays!
