MUCH PAIN-SORROW-and Self-SACRIFICE MAY BE NECESSARY", NOT BECAUSE THEY ARE GOOD IN THEMSELVES, BUT BECAUSE THEY WILL "PURIFY us", like fire applied to a goldsmith's crusible to burn the dross.(Q:29:2).
