The car became wider with 9cm (3,5") so we had to alter that change to the serial bodywork. We also updated the overall design.
Overall width: 1,05m (41,3")
We recieved today the final welded components for the first time and oput everything next to each other to see how large the whole thing will be! One word: Enormous!
It was a wet and windy day, so no outside play possible for Lucas. We played for a long time with Brio train track, Hot Wheels cars and especially his new remote-controlled car, which he loves. I booked him in for a session at soft play in the afternoon, while Bethan & Mike stayed in either resting or working. I was pretty exhausted after tearing round for an hour or so in the soft play place, and I think Lucas was too. However, I still went for a walk around the village before our meal, in order to 'close my rings'. Definitely an early night for me!
Burn-out....
Thursday night I heard a strange noise out in the street, and it suddenly hit me what it was, and it sure was moving, so I grabbed the camera which had the 70-300 lens on already, and raced outside. It was getting quite dark so most of the shots I got were very grainy or very blurred, but I did manage to salvage something from the operation....
I had a red car and blue car with a dawg chasing me around tonight as i was trying to push the kiddos twards bed.
Dawg showed back up recently, not sure where he had been. He made his way to Vegas about 5 years ago with Jas and I.. Then dissapeared after that.. Looks like he got himeslf a shiney blue sports car.
I think I'll play with my little remote controlled car in the ice and snow while wearing my robe and slippers.
On 5/13/06 the boy got a brand new remote controlled car. His very first Caddy! Daddy was so proud. The Boy himself took this picture! And he wont even be 3 until the end of July. My budding photographer!
