I took Isaac down to see the Red Arrows performing for the Great North Run - I've taken him in previous years but he's never really been bothered (in fact he slept through it one time even though the planes were coming right over our heads!). He was very impressed this year.

Prior to appearing at the Southport Airshow on Saturday the Red Arrows did a flypast over Prescot and Liverpool on their move to Blackpool Airport on Friday. As sometimes happens I had plenty of time to prepare for their arrival but managed to be not fully "on the case" when they approached. I blame the heat :-)
