Alternative water piece (from Power burst items) - Instructions available on Rebrickable: rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-46652

You to can build this moc @ rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-149938/Brick-Fil-A-Builds/infern...

Hello Lego dragon fans, lots of people liked Night rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-143631/Brick-Fil-A-Builds/night-... so I decided to build another dragon. This dragon has fewer pieces so the parts list could be cheaper.

Inferno is a fire dragon that lives in Wales and has on occasion fought with Night. Their battles have sometimes gone on for weeks, and destroyed many a town.

I made a LEGO Speed Champions MOC of the infamous Hoovie's Garage Ferrari F355 Spider, the dumbest Ferrari MOC on the internet!

Instructions available for purchase on Rebrickable: rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-179079/StudWorks/hoovies-garage-...

Stickers available for purchase on Brickstickershop: www.brickstickershop.com/Custom-Sticker-for-Rebrickable-M...

Hoovie owned the car from March 2018 until the following August. He lent it to his friend, Parker from the YouTube channel Vehicle Virgins, to keep in his garage for storage during Monterey Car Week. While Parker took it for a drive, the F355's stripped power steering cap leaked fluid everywhere, but before he could limp the car somewhere for it to be repaired, it burst into flames.

The car features an opening bonnet with detailed engine. The bonnet can be switched with a burning bonnet along with four other pieces below the car to reenact the fateful day the F355 burnt down. The side vents' design were particularly inspired by NV Carmocs' own F355 MOC.

If this MOC sounds a little morbid to you, be assured that Hoovie is known for being humorous and making dumb decisions. I made this MOC as a tribute to his channel and for the sake of satire. Also, I decided to fittingly post this on April Fools Day!

Eurobricks and Rebrickable were challenged by LEGO to make alternate models for current year city sets. The builds had to only use the pieces in available in the official LEGO model, be made in LDD, digitized, tested in real brick and be a model a 7-10 year old could build!!

I received set 60035 "Arctic Outpost".

This was a good set to receive because it had a good variety of parts and plates, but not so many that it was overwhelming. There were some challenges of course, one being there were no brick with stud on one side bricks, though I did have a few good SNOT pieces. Another challenge was the lack of inverted slopes to really shape my models. It was still a fun project and I came up with 5 alternate models.

here you go:

Rebrickable: partlist + instructions pdf

Yes, it's still the falcon...

only some studs bigger than my old model of 2019 but this one comes with a lot updates and features a complete new covering.

It took about 2 years on an off working on this one.

This time I tried to get as close as possible to the circle form

and I tried to close most of the gabs on the covering.

The model features many ucs styled details within a scale that fits on every shelf.

Due to the system scale the proportions are still a bit bulk. therefore it has a full interior!

The model is more strength now. E.g. the cover slices can be fixed in position.

Still this is more a display model than play model.

I tried to built the instructions as much understandable as possible. But as I am a not the best practiced builder, there can be tough sections here and there.

funfacts:

3985 Parts

57x 42 Studs

2.450kg

If you own my moc from 2019 you already have about 60-70% of pieces.

You' ll also get a discount for the new instructions! pm me

Stud.io file on request

also I can share different part lists for the model without interior

or inner structure only if you want to try to build it with your own covering.

As we are going through a sermon series at my church on 'stories', my reflection is, what are the stories we tell with the things we build?

Noah’s Ark: a color study

Two color schemes, two emphasis of the same story.

One we emphasize to our kids (Gen 7), the other we often bury in our mind (Gen 6:11).

rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-110747/macetoy/duplex-home/#details

I made Duplex Home with Lego this time.

I made the front of the building by referring to the building I saw on the Internet, and I imagined the rest.

Brick : 985pcs

There is a sofa and a bathroom on the first floor.

There is a small storage space under the stairs that go up to the second floor.

You can sit on the sofa and read books on the first floor.

The second floor is double-decker. There is a kitchen and a bedroom.

I've got a coffee pot, a sink, and a gas stove.

When I eat, I put a table in front of the window so that I can eat while looking around the street.

I made a big skylight on the bed, making it less frustrating.

Sturdy, rugged, fast - The Ol' Pelican is an old fishing vessel the pirates Clint and Longsocks rely on for smaller expeditions as well as the odd fishing trip. Being a pirate, Clint has equiped the boat with two swivel guns, leading to the Ol' Pelican packing more of a punch than one might expect.

This MOC shows a villa on the Mediterranean that is inhabited by a philosopher who also loves the night and it's stars. The villa fits perfectly in the Carebean or at the Mediterranean! It pops up a bit, because the vegetation grows over the black podium.

☠️ Highlights of the Build:

1. A big building: The bug building has two floors with inventory and a small tower.

2. Realistic Palm! The Palms make it feel like a tropical Island with their curved tribes.

3. Story time! The fact that there aren't any minifigures in this MOC leaves space for an exciting story to happen with your own imaginations and your own minifigs.

This is a MOC from rebrickable by deconsnowman, with a few tweaks--I made the cabin slightly larger to accommodate a minifigure, tweaked the lines and removed the spoiler to make it closer to the original F1 as opposed to the LM which is what the original MOC was modeled after. It's a stunning car and a surprisingly sturdy, playable MOC.

[See the "Fllying Box Turtle" robot, an improvement over this "Fllying Tortoise" -- rebrickable.com/mocs/DavidLuders/fllying-box-turtle-ev3-r... ].

This Lego Mindstorms EV3 robot's "Tortoise" body accommodates a top "Shell" that can be quickly attached. In FIRST Lego League (FLL), valuable time can be saved by having attachments quickly pop onto (and off of) the robot (less time wasted --> more missions done --> more points). The shell's arms rotate via the Power Take-Off (PTO) gears on the EV3 Large Motor heads. Be sure to keep the EV3 Programmable Brick's screen and buttons clear, so that they can be easily seen during the FLL robot game. Large Lego Motorcycle wheels+tires ( www.bricklink.com/catalogItemInv.asp?P=51378c01 ) save space, increase travel speed, and improve grip. There are two EV3 Color Sensors and an EV3 Gyro Sensor inside the bumpers. The gear "ladder" in the shell assembly allows for multiple locations for the green Technic Liftarm to be attached. The blue Technic Liftarm is a side hook. The Lego Digital Designer (LDD) .lxf Building Instructions file is available on Bricksafe -- EV3 Tortoise Base: www.bricksafe.com/files/dluders/EV3 Tortoise Base.lxf ; EV3 Tortoise Shell: www.bricksafe.com/files/dluders/EV3%20Tortoise%20Base%20w... . The Parts List for the EV3 Tortoise Base is on Rebrickable: rebrickable.com/mocs/DavidLuders/fllying-tortoise-ev3-robot . Experiment and design your own shell!

Based on the Minifig Series 23 nutcrakcer, the upscaled version was made by modifying the set 40649.

This has been an absolute blast to do, one of the rare projects where I play with the actual Lego and dive back into Studio when it’s all done. I think I’ve managed to improve the proportions, the lower half of the ball now looks more rounded, the wings have a very subtle curve, the nose is a bit sleeker with that area in front of the ball slimmed down to something much less bulky.

.

The ship is still solid and swooshable, the droid-dropping feature is gone but there’s still space for a couple of the droids and the cockpit will still hold Maul on his little hovering Sith Vespa thing.

.

Best of all, no extra pieces required 😊

Shout outs:

First and foremost, Ron McPhatty for the instructions 🙏. He has put a lot of time in not only the instructions itself, but also to optimize the build, as to make it affordable.

It does not contain any discontinued or hard to find parts, and the colors are really straight forward - mostly black, light- and dark bluish grey.

Of course, a shout out to @benjamin_last who did the original artwork, and to @monsterpartywars who did some digital sketches for his amazing scratch build 1/144 models.

Love to hear what you think 👍
