Ruby Van Meter held their third annual Elementary Swim Championships on Friday, February 24th. Swim Coach Gene Hildreth says, "All the kids love swimming here. For some, it's therapeutic, and for others it's a great physical challenge where they get some good exercise." The championships are a way to get the students excited about the upcoming special olympics that the older students will compete in.

A sign facing the platform at Richmond Staples Mills Station. This is ridiculous that the sign simply says "Richmond." This is one of two Richmond stations, the other being the Main Street Station downtown. I'm sure many passengers have accidentally alighted here because of the misleading signage. 7519 Staples Mill Rd, Richmond, VA.
