Library materials are sorted and ready to go through delivery in the RPLS Delivery room on Snapshot Day, Wednesday, February 10, 2010.
The next day Ann & I walked around town, and stopped for lunch at a little tavola calda tucked around the back of the Volpetti delicatessen on the corner of Via Marmorata and Via Alessandro Volta in Testaccio. I'm having zuppa di farro,, a nice glass of Montepulciano, and a confection called a "vesuvio": a ball of fresh smoked Naples mozzarella wrapped with prosciutto, dipped in tempura batter, and deep-fried... wow...

Note the traditional "If you have purchased a souvenir ulu knife" message found at major Alaska airports -- it says you have to put it in your checked baggage, but the problem is, by the time you get to this point, all your checked baggage has already been checked!
