Started the morning at brunch with Shri at Beulahland. Walking in before 9AM, there were a pack of tipsy Arsenal fans watching the match on television. Frankly, it was a cute way to start the day.
In the afternoon, I gave a talk as part of the TEDx Thesis Talks at my college. It wasn't the best I've ever done with public speaking, but it was good practice for future talks.
I ended the evening at a DIFFERENT bar where a timbers match was playing - bookended day of being nearby rapid soccer fans. Really, not so bad.

The Timbers Army is bathed in green smoke … and it smells like toasted marshmallows at least according to one of the first lieutenants. Smoke is good though because it means the Timbers scored yet another goal. Final trouncing of Philadelphia was a mind blowing 3-1 victory. RCTID

When Autumn Heard Landon Was Coming to Portland Again She Was So Excited. She Had Missed His First Match Against The Timbers When He Played For The San Jose Earthquakes. She Was So Upset At The Time. The Timing Of The Match Conflicted With An Acting School Trip That She Went To In Sisters, Oregon.
I Bought Great Seats For The LA Galaxy Match. She Tried To Get His Attention The Whole Time Pre-Match. After The Match Landon Signed Some Autographs For A Few Kids. Again Autumn Missed Out On Her Opportunity To Meet One Of Her Idols. She Was Very Cold, Wet, And Disappointed And Told Me She Was Ready to Go Home. By This Time Security Had Made Their Way Over To Tell Us To Leave PGE Park. We Made Our Way Out Of The Front Gates And Towards The Tri-Met Max Stop. I Noticed A Charter Bus About To Leave. We Ran Towards The Bus. When We Made It Closer Towards It We Could See Landon Sitting On The Bus. I Knocked On The Window And Got His Attention. To Autumn's Delight He Made His Way To The Front Of The Bus And Came Over To Talk With Us.
Here Is The Photo I Snapped. Still To This Day When I Mention This Day Autumn Gets The Hugest Smile On Her Face, Just Like In The Picture.
