FM Car N°513 – Gympie Road 1968 Enoggera bound FM Car N°513 returns from Chermside along Gympie Road in 1968. This was one of a number of sections where trams had their right of way separated from other road traffic.
Another detail shot showcases the funny quirks of Pike Place Market. Because of low lighting, I used a shutter speed of 1/000 and compensated it with a ISO of 6400. The aperture of f/5.6 allows me to focus on the disruption to the photo's repeated form composition.
In Photoshop, I cropped the photo to follow the rule of thirds and lowered the red lightness so the color of the apples weren't as harsh.
Also, a slumbering fish in the background...although we did have a LONG
debate about whether it was dead or not.
Quirked inspired shot of my girl ;) If you all know Quirked on DOA, you know she loves to take shots of her characters straight, torso up. So we dedicate this is you Quirked, and all your gorgeous dolls ^^

Victoria Bridge – Melbourne St – 1968 There is standing room only on FM Car N°543 as it turns into Stanley Street at the head of a procession of peak hour trams coming off Victoria Bridge in 1968. The Melbourne Street tracks in the foreground lead to Dutton Park and West End. At the far left is a sign advertising the construction of the new Victoria Bridge.
Artists were asked to create a wacky doghouse for this exhibit... all proceeds were donated to the SPCA. Pretty cool!
