I'm teasing you here as I have almost finished the picture I've been drawing over the last couple of days. JJ was going to frame my first A3 version but with things I don't like about it, I decided to have another go at it! It's quite hard doing the same picture twice so I muddled things around a bit! More coming soon. ^_^

Now I'm standing only 25 feet away from the deadly terrerist attack happened one month back. It's relieving to see such a bustling life after all that . It shows ..that government may fail

in checking the terrorists ... but people have their own way of coping and telling the

terrorists that no one can restrict the march of life. That way the sole aim of terrorism

to create panic is defeated comprehensively.

Mainlanders waiting to get to the queue for the tram to The Peak. This queue went down the hill (ie, the end of the queue) and once they had managed to cross the road, the queue then wrapped itself around a building. Police were required for crowd control. I haven't had much time to live here on Earth, but I think with my time here, there's one thing that I've come to know...and that's... that We were not meant to walk this road alone!

My fav of all the memorials in Washington D.C.: the FDR memorial. It's arranged as a time-based sequence of open-air 'rooms' with his quotes and statues or murals depicting various situations and/or accomplishments throughout his four terms.

The one I chose depicts the bread lines that were a common sight during the Great Depression. Visitors often queue up at the end (or in the middle) of the statues for cheesy pix, but I thought this guy actually managed to "blend in" fairly well :)

I'm thinking if I should provide more details what this photo is about... Nah! I'm sure you figure it out.

PS. I decided that my photostream is too colourful, so it was time to add a B&W photo :-)

Mr Pook (tuxie) & Wild Willy (tabby) have heard that there is extra special cat food available - not happy that they are excluded..... :)

I may have to relent!

The Batobus queue, located by the water's edge next to the Eiffel Tower.

OK this queue doesn't look to bad and I was with the OH right at the front ... we were the first to arrive. But I didn't want to be hurried around the house by everyone, so kept going to the back of the queue.

I was still in about this spot by the time the OH had done his circuit of the house and come out, but I didn't mind as I was chatting with everyone around me :))

However, I was very miffed when I got to the front of the queue and was rather gruffly told I couldn't go in until someone came out, only to see 8 people come out and I still wasn't allowed to go in. I was then lectured about not using flash and how I mustn't touch anything ... do I really look like a 5 year old, coz that's how the unpleasant girl on the door made me feel!
