The 1976 Bikecentennial Guide Maps carried in a map case on your handlebar bag. What a masterwork! This was an especially challenging section where I became bogged down in mud and had to remove my fenders so the wheels would turn.

Spring is well and truly on the way, and Monkston seems to be covered in dandelion. While most are yellow and flowers some are starting to turn to seeds prompting a chance to get “pruning” as my photography tutor would say!
