I wanted to make fun of the huge volcano (pimple) that's growing on my forehead, so big it's starting to generate its own gravitational field... but I got this shot as I was practising the focus and light. No cropping. The volcano got naturally-selected out of my picture!

Acne/pimples are a collaboration of excess sebum, oil and dirt that gets concentrated on your pores.
Here's the story: Cyn and I are at a very nice lunch with tons of my family. My 6 year old cousin looks at me from across the table and asks, "Alli Jo, were you born with those pimmmmmples". I was mortified, it's now a family joke. Kids say the darn'dest things....

Nephroma resupinatum 'Pimpled Kidney Lichen' is a brown foliose lichen with some tomentum at the lobe tips. A few lobules present along the lobe margins. Lower surface is a pale yellow brown, densely tomentose with white papillate (pimples). Apothecia on lower surface at tips of lobes. Growing on mossy rotting wood along with Cladonia squamules.
