Small, rectangular and unique!
Pez (stylised as PEZ) is the brand name of an Austrian candy and associated manual candy dispensers. The candy is a pressed, dry, straight-edged, curved-corner block 15 mm (5⁄8 inch) long, 8 mm (5⁄16 inch) wide and 5 mm (3⁄16 inch) high, with each Pez dispenser holding 12 candy pieces.
Pez was invented in Austria and later exported worldwide. The all-uppercase spelling of the logo echoes the trademark's style on the packaging and the dispensers, with the logo drawn in perspective and giving the appearance that the letters are built out of 44 brick-like Pez mints (14 bricks in the P and 15 in each of the E and Z).
Logo
Despite the widespread recognition and popularity of the Pez dispenser, the company considers itself to be primarily a candy company, and "[t]oday, billions of PEZ candies are consumed annually in the U.S.A. alone". Pez dispensers are a part of popular culture in many nations, an example being "Soul Candy" in the Japanese manga series Bleach. Because of the large number of dispenser designs over the years, they are collected by many.
PEZ was first marketed as a compressed peppermint sweet in Vienna, Austria, in 1927 by Eduard Haas III. The name PEZ is an abbreviation of PfeffErminZ (German for peppermint). The original product was a round peppermint lozenge called PEZ drops. Over time, a new manufacturing process evolved and the hard pressed brick shape known today was created. The product packaging evolved from wrapped rolls to a small tin to hold the mints, similar to the modern Altoids tins. The first PEZ mint dispensers, known as "regulars", were similar in shape to a cigarette lighter and dispensed an adult breath mint marketed as an alternative to tobacco. They were invented by Oscar Uxa. Haas Food Manufacturing Corporation of Vienna was the first to sell PEZ products.

Don't worry, I'm harmless. Believe me – really, I'm scared of myself. What a little different lighting can do (or deface) ... Sometimes appearances are deceptive and suddenly everything seems damn creepy ;-)

These complaints already sound a little funny or rather strange when you listen to this old song by Hans Albers from 1950, from which the line of text comes. But the first connecting thought came to me about the candy and Hans Albers, because he sang so many longing songs about the sea, the sailors and the associated, often "waiting" women. The name of this special – and no less famous – pastille, which clears the breath as beautifully as a fresh sea breeze, is called: Fisherman's Friend. And a worried and wistful eye goes well with that, doesn't it? ... By the way, I usually have some of these friends with me ;-)
///

Ingredients: white mint candy as eyeball, red onfectionery decoration as iris, flower petals as eyelashes, sugar as face (no snow), not a drop of water as a tear (it wouldn't be good for the sugar ...), sunlight (which was pretty hard, made everything sparkle – but probably also pushed my lens a little to its limits ...)

COCKTAIL MOJITO
1/2 Limette(n), in 4 Stücke geschnitten
1 Zweig/e Pfefferminze
1 EL Rohrzucker, heller
6 cl Rum, weißer
6 Eiswürfel
3 dl Mineralwasser

Staying healthy is what we all want. I usually try to eat / drink as many vitamins, as I can get and do some workout 2-3 times a week (mostly biking). When I feel, I'm getting ill, I brew a peppermint or sage tea. The herbs are from my own garden or -in winter- from the garden market.

How refreshing a peppermint can be, everyone knows that ;-) Very useful for kissing and dancing, it provides fresh breath, gives new energy. And it is said that someone who chews gum is much more attractive than someone who does not move his mouth. Whatever may be true ... I have two cool refreshing hot songs for you today – from the 60s and 70s ;-)

"PEPPERMINT TWIST" is the title of a pop song in a twisted rhythm, with the band Joey Dee & the Starliters it became a number-one hit and a million seller in 1962 in the USA.
"WITH PEPPERMINT I AM YOUR PRINCE" is the fourth studio album by German musician Marius Müller-Westernhagen, which was not unsuccessful at its 1978 release, but developed into a cult album and sales success over the years.

P.s. I wrote Pez song few years ago
Neka ti u đepu uvijek bude Pez
Ne idi nikad u svijet bez njih
Bombone Pez obožavao je Grigor Vitez
Za bolji glas prije nastupa jede ih
Nenad Knežević Knez
Pez je slađi nego ijedan pekmez
Bombone Pez obožavaju Austrijanac

Jer su neodoljivi i neponovljivi.

History about Pez Candy
The PEZ Dispenser has been around for nearly 50 years. PEZ Candy got its start even earlier, introduced in 1927 in Vienna, Austria as the world's first ever breath mint. Edward Haas, an avid non-smoker, wanted to invent a product to rival cigarettes. His product, a small compressed sugar tablet with peppermint oil added, was sold in small pocket size tins (similar to Altoid brand mints sold today) and marketed as an alternative to smoking. His slogan was "smoking prohibited pezzing allowed!"
The name PEZ was dirived from the German work for peppermint, "pfefferminz" Using the first, middle, and last letters of the word, Hass came up with the name "PEZ."
