There are many here on flickr. Many of us are bound deeply to our pets, and studies show that is a healing thing. I suppose all of our pet pictures are efforts to show, or even explain our bonds, yet no explanation really serves. Love across species barriers reveals a bit of nature’s soul.
Here is my Poko, smiling and content, atop Salvation Knoll, a viewpoint the country of Cedar Mesa, Utah. Arizona and Monument Valley lie in the far bright distance on this early spring day.

The photo wasn't planned but it works well for this week's Happy Caturday theme "Brushing or Petting" and so I post two cat photos today. There aren't many hands which Tofu accepts on his fur. The one in this photo belongs to my nephew Hendrik who at the moment lives in the room behind this window. Cats generally like Hendrik a lot and they all appear on his windowsill quite often. :) Happy Caturday !
My furry lap warmer!

Faça o que for necessário para ser feliz. Mas não se esqueça que a felicidade é um sentimento simples, você pode encontrá-la e deixá-la ir embora por não perceber sua simplicidade.

Here is a detailed section from the mural painted on commission from the Launceston Veterinary Hospital. Don't you just love those eyes?
Foley's ability in these murals to paint photorealism with a contemporary artist's flair (and swirls) is quite unique. He is a little more abstract in his purely artistic work, and it was just such an approach that led him to being awarded the Glover Prize for a landscape in 2011. www.johnglover.com.au/product/gees-lookout/

I don't have any public pictures of Buddylein with people on it. Just this one from New Year's Day 2019 when we took a wonderful walk despite the rain.
Gracias a todos por vuestros comentarios y faves, me animan un montón.

This is one of my talented neighbours relaxing at home in Betws yn Rhos, Conwy, North Wales - who during 'Lockdown', for personal enjoyment, started painting her own pets from photographs in acrylic - then posting them on Facebook and Instagram.
Her friends and many others soon noticed her beautiful work and then asked if she would kindly paint their pets too. Three examples of her recent commissions can be seen through the window as I passed by tonight.
I've often admired her work when passing and naturally
I asked her kind permission before taking the photograph.
