And today was one of those days! I feel snuffly, exhausted! But my friend bought me flowers for no other reason than we are friends! Is there anything better than that....and a chocolate muffin!
I wanted to show that 08/08/08 was an absolutely perfect summer day here in Northern Virginia. No humidity, temperatures in the low 80's, a nice consistent breeze all day. It doesn't get any better than this in the summertime!

Perfect afternoon in neighborhood coffee shop. Design magazines from around the world (plus one crafty one). A soy latte and an organic raspberry scone. All consumed in a secret outdoor backyard of a hard to find cafe n Brooklyn.

well, What to say? This day will probably go in my book as one of the more relaxing days ever =) The night before I was talking to a friend, if we had any plans for this friday? No? Lets go and drink coffee in the Hague... well... We didn't find the coffee place that we were looking for, (since we didn't even know the name) so we ended up seeing the movie "Yes man"... well... I could make a lot of fuss 'bout how much of a waste that movie was... but I'm not gonna... after that.. we searched the entire marked places for some cheap but good food... and found nothing... so we Travelled to Utrecht... and there we found good food, good drinks and some very friendly waitresses =) we ended up spending way to much money and really not caring 'bout it =)
So to end this story: I really love my student card! It enables me to travel the entire country with public transportation for free! so heck, if you have a day of or something, just hop on a train and see where it leads to =)
*as for the title, I tried to get my eye and eyebrow into focus more, but if I moved the camera more, then I would have lost all of the back ground.. So a question: Is there a way to make my camera focus not in the middle of the lens? or is this just crazy men's talking??
