I have a healthy respect for male privilege even though I was really too feminine to enjoy the practice. As I become female I am realizing smart women who find a man of their own will always have access. Cheers to all of the good men out there! ☮️💜

Steph’s first day at work yesterday as a job site progress photographer for an engineering firm. Although it’s not glamorous work, I love it! So now in my down time I have two construction clients. I shoot for one commercial firm and one environmental design company. Yes girls and trans girls sweat like hell too! (well, at least this one does..lol) ☮️💜

Birthday Girl picture. I own all of these imperfections. This is me. ❤️ Love You Flickr Family ❤️

My 2020 vision is to measure decisions with Quality Discernment. May we all celebrate the start of this decade improving our health, wealth, and wisdom. Submitted with love and big smoochie New Year’s Kisses! ☮️💜

Good morning to all! I have my second Transitional Life Coach meeting this week scheduled after some early morning errands. More full time goal setting is planned for today as well as fear conquering. This is a hell of ride! ☮️💜💋

Soaking in the sun and lifting up gratitude. I have so many issues and challenges behind me, ahead of me, and on top of me. Not only am I very trans, as luck would have it, I am very HUMAN as well. What a revelation!

I am not sure how interesting this composition is as a portrait unless you are seeking inspiration to break through your fears of transitioning.

Here is a fresh look thanks to my new BFF stylist Michelle. Top left corner is before the cut. Bottom left is the Cato application I was handed to apply after talking with the store manager. I positioned myself as a casual fill-in 2-3 times a month. She wasn’t interested until we both decided it was more fun to say “yes.” It’s filled out and I’m taking it back tomorrow. 💜☮️

Getting my steps behind the lens today. Just a girl and her camera enjoying a beautiful Sunday.

Facts of Life: Even at 15 years old I knew I would have to wear glasses.

Happy New Year everyone. I am at my usual NYE venue checking out my competition. Since I’m not working, I’m looking for a kiss!

Blonde 18 month HRT update. Tuesday will be the 1 1/2 year lab check up visit. Of course the doctor is going to clobber me on diet and exercise. Traveling and work are no excuse for poor health habits. I have noticed as I get closer to full time I am taking much better care of myself. Hmm, that makes sense!!!!😊

I hope this helps some girls like myself who ate concerned with aging skin regimes. In the past I was a Roden Fields fan, spending $220 a quarter on a four step system that worked really well. Denoted below is a similar system I created this year and I like it better and it’s almost half the price…with an instant firming gel! (Like Plexaderm)

Bare Minerals White Clay $22

Thayers Facial toner $12

Cera Ve Eye Cream $20

Nutragena Hydro Boost $23

Nutragena Hydro Boost Nightime $23

Peter John Roth FirmX $22

(The picture upper right is after 2 minutes of the temporary FirmX gel)

Ask any questions. Peace and love! Steph

Finally at the beach for some personal time after wrapping our Charleston shoots this week. Such a beautiful city. I can’t wait to come back.

Finally trying my hand at a before and after makeup montage. I will try again someday. For now, I choose to let the technical errors live in harmony. 😘

Before makeup today. (This lipstick wipes off easily) Soon I will be changing for a 10am meeting then getting back to a full me for a day of errands and shopping in 26° weather.

How weird is this? I am celebrating my big 3-Year Estroversary with round one of a Pfizer Covid shot!

Please choose a set for tonight’s coming out to the band about my transition. Group A or Group B? Pick numbers if needed. They all kind of know, but I have not formally shared my full intention. Thank you so much for the help! ☮️💜

Came to an empty home. I wonder what is under the tree? I’ll try to get clearer pictures. We just have lamps in the family room.

Business Chic practice.

Last day on Sea Island for AndroSteph producing shows all week at The Cloister. Still not 100% transitioned; yet enjoying my own duality. Let’s see where this goes!

Transition Transparency

I am closer than I have ever been to living full time as a woman. As you can imagine my decisions are causing a lot of stress in our home. Although I won’t look like Barbie and I won’t have a sexy voice, I am choosing health first; to be the best me. Period. I owe my real self the chance to amplify her potential.

No magic pill will make me a size four and no magic blanket will make people behave, so I am resigned to manage my own disappointments.

After transition I fully expect my fear issues will remain and I will still have to shrug off snide comments like “that’s Mrs. Doubtfire.” That really stung on NYE, but then I converted the pain to motivation and drove to see some friends play. Even though I did not reveal myself to them, it felt great being in a familiar place with people I love.

We are closest to our dreams when we sleep and when we wake. It is how we adorn our day that creates a spectacular sunset.

Feeling alive today out snapping shots this morning. Later today I am crashing at least two temp agencies to continue my voice and interview practice. Be sweet y’all! 😘

TransParent looking for work! Not really 😊. l am constantly practicing business looks that are age and vertical appropriate. I was so sad when Dress Barn closed their final locations last year. In the past they were well appointed with the Jones separates line that mixed and matched so well. The malls are definitely fun but sometimes I feel like I’m going through a battlefield of scanners that easily read me. I do the “thick-skin” persona fairly well but prefer the intimacy of a small shop with a trendy staff that loves fashion.

Naked face Sunday. (with “Redefine” help from Rodan and Fields)

Yesterday I received my first pair of women’s prescription glasses from last month’s eye appointment at Warby Parker. When spending money, salespeople don’t seem to mind whether one is trans or not, as long as the card runs smooth! 😂

First time enjoying some music in a park as myself. Two funny revelations. 1. An acoustic guitar makes a great boob rest. 2. I really need to work harder on my future voice. I pretended to have a sore throat when people asked for requests. The good news is I made a decent run at the set list for next week’s show.

“You think I’m pretty without any make up on.

You think I’m funny when I tell a punch line wrong.

You think I’m crazy, cause we both know my voice sounds WRONG!”

Happy Friday everyone! I am out taking a few pics before going to a long overdue hair appointment. 😘 www.linkedin.com/in/creativesteph

Harsh light is hell on skin. After yesterday’s client shoot I thought what the heck. I’m going to jump in the sun and put this new ILMakiage foundation to the test. Not too bad of a color match for a customized mail order makeup that is selected from answering a few questions. ☮️💜

Blondes have more fun but as a child of a ginger mother auburn is my natural hair color. I think the first one is my best bet for a professional profile. (Especially since I discovered wind blown hair is covering my eye in the other two!) Which one do you like best? This isn’t going to print anytime soon but my brother and I are preparing for an eminent marketing shift! 😂 Also we both passed on wearing glasses since ageism is a real concern in our business.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!

Got up early and took this before the drab festivities started. Of course no make up again aside from as easy wipe lip color. Tomorrow morning I am committed to making the day mine. Peace to us all!☮️💜

For some reason I woke and wanted to visit an amphitheater we work and play every summer. Following Mel Robbins “Blast Off” technique I got ready and drove straight there. It was a 35° blustery morning and I’m out snapping pics before work. It’s all part of honoring the practice of this journey. ☮️💜

Trending today’s casual looks and wishing Happy Mother’s Day to all of our Momma friends here. My bestie “R” knew purple was my favorite color and made this mask for me. ☮️💜😷

“Targeted” social norm play prior to the dreaded hair and make up removal for work. It is hard to believe one could finally become comfortable carrying purses and cute wallets without the confines of hair and make up, even in their own small town.

Although it has been almost three years since replacing our church broadcast engagements, I am still not 100% out to my large freelance contractors. To thwart the impending full-time future, I am doubling down most weeks to build the transition fund; bracing for at least one of my client’s choosing to lose my number when Steph arrives. 💜☮️

Although it was campy there was a great message and expert production elements that helped port you to Barbieland.

Although I blew my holiday morning on an unproductive meeting, I made the most of the day with a purse full of make up and nice change of clothes. Yep, I’m still very trans. ☮️💜

This picture is from 6 months, 40lbs ago....before the last two rear-end car wrecks slowed me down. I’m fine now and the cars are fine. (Still waiting for the cute little white SUV to come home😊)

As I continue to feel better I’m choosing to leverage these accidents as a catalyst for personal growth. It is Christmas right? The most magical and beautiful season of all.

Cheers to all of the pageantry and beauty these holidays may bring to you my friends. I adore the spirit and encouragement we share as we donn our best. ☮️💜☮️💜☮️💜

I believe I’m starting to look like my mother but reaffirmed this morning I look more like her mother. Oh my heart soars when mom talks about my journey of becoming a woman. I would be fine sharing any of their attributes. Now if I could only snag a Colonel or TV broadcaster as a husband! 😘

Happy girl in the park.

Final days of Rossendale Transport: old sign dumped at the rear of Rochdale depot. As Rossendale Transport passes into private hands, here is an article from the Commercial Motor Archive recalling Rossendale's purchase of the Ellen Smith operation - article printed in January 1991:

"Rossendale takes over Ellen Smith

Municipal bus operator Rossendale Transport is expanding its leisure activities with the takeover of Rochdale based family firm Ellen Smith Tours.

The 90-year-old tours company will continue to trade separately, but will operate from Rossendale's new bus garage in Rochdale. All existing business — which includes the 1991 tours programme, 20 staff and 14 coaches, are being taken over; only the premises in Wardleworth are being retained by Eric Smith who was seeking retirement. Rossendale's coach fleet will continue to run separately from the Rawtenstall depot: there are no plans to integrate the two.

Smith and his wife will stay with the company on a parttime basis to oversee a smooth transfer with all existing commitments being honoured."

“I like long walks in the park, rainbows 🌈 after a rain shower, and hanging out at Unicorn ranches in my spare time.” Oh how I love reading OKC profiles.
