For macro mondays 'paper'
The rolled section of this torn strip was about 1cm across - it was fascinating to see the textures of the rough edges so closely!
It was placed on a smooth ceramic tile with a glitter card background.

For the Macro Monday challenge "Wrapping" (December 12th 2022)
With snow and a deep freeze our thoughts are indeed on wrapping up warm! But today's challenge was rather different - how to photograph the festive ritual of wrapping up presents in only 3". Not at all an easy thing to do! So my offering is several tiny scraps of wrapping paper rolled up tighter than a cigarette, and two little decorative tie curls! Hoping it gives a small hint of Christmas cheer!

Just plain letter size paper rolled on a pencil and then let it free, standing on a white cardboard. photographed with a macro lens with razor thin depth of field.
Tiny's big(ger) brother 'Medio' kindly served as one component in this CrAzY Still LIfe and jumped right into the Pastry Tongs, because Tiny was too small to keep hold in there .... both brothers played the entire afternoon with the toilet paper roll ....

In a world full of adventure and color, two animated figures, "One-Eyed Green" and "Minion", lived happily in a universe full of surprises. One day, while they were walking around their world full of toys and smiles, they saw something big in the distance, similar to a huge whale. One-Eyed Green whispered cheerfully to Minion, “Don't be afraid; you're with me!' Minion, looking around and smiling confidently, replied, "With you, One-Eyed Green, I'm never alone!"
When they got closer, they realized it was just a strip of a toilet paper roll twisted by the wind. One-Eyed Green and Minion burst out laughing, finding joy in the unexpected twist. The toilet paper whale, although not real, had brought laughter and fun to their days. The two friends continued their walk, sharing smiles and creating memories in their whimsical world of toys and surprises

Old paper rolled up and a small shell put in the crack, that's all.
The creamy white reminded me of the old Dulux adverts from the 80s, all sorts of shades of white they had.

La comparsa está compuesta por 130 componentes. Representan una Tribu Maya. La mayor parte del traje está todo pintado a mano, incluida la capa. The troupe is made up of 130 components. They represent a Mayan Tribe. Most of the costume is all hand painted, including the cape. The hat represents one of the most revered Mayan Gods with a feathered serpent. The snake is made with origami and the tail with small pieces of toilet paper roll to give it more movement.
They have used recycled materials such as nuts and simple and basic things such as skewer sticks, cotton swabs, ties, feathers and trimmings.

Shot on iPhone 13 Pro.
I had a MRI today on a dodgy hip (running injury that doesn’t want to go away), and I had an idea to represent that somehow with a tunnel shot - I couldn’t take my phone into the MRI machine to shoot the real thing. So, I’m in the kitchen pointing my iPhone down a kitchen paper roll, deciding what would make a good background and realised I had a helper.
So, tunnel vision with a dose of Gizmo.
Seems to be the trending topic these days. Toilet paper is always hit and miss at the stores.
