SLAWI – Tergerak membantu pemerintah menangani Covid-19, sekelompok pemuda asal Dukuh Asem, Desa Gantungan, Kecamatan Jatinegara, Kabupaten Tegal membuat robot pintar. Robot tersebut nantinya akan membantu tenaga medis mengantar obat maupun makanan bagi pasien Covid-19 yang sedang menjalani isolasi di rumah sakit.
Prototipe robot pintar dengan brand Nyong Robot Tegal telah diujicoba di depan Bupati Tegal Umi Azizah, di Pendapa Amangkurat pada Jumat (26/6) siang.
Turut menyaksikan ujicoba robot Kepala Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Tegal , Hendadi Setiaji, Wakil Direktur RSUD dr Soeselo Slawi, Titis Cahyaningsih dan Staf Ahli Bupati, Agus Subagyo.
Siang itu, Abdul Wahab (31) dan empat rekannya mempraktekkan cara kerja robot yang bertugas mengantikan peran tenaga medis mengantarkan obat atau makanan ke kamar pasien Covid-19.
Prototipe robot berbentuk seperti meja dengan tinggi sekitar 1 meter memiliki berat 10 kilogram. Meski demikian, kata Wahab, robot tersebut bisa membawa beban mencapai 20 kilogram.
Ikhwal pembuatan robot pintar ini, Wahab menjelaskan, bahwa mereka merasa prihatin dengan banyaknya tenaga kesehatan yang gugur saat bertugas menangani pasien Covid-19 ,
“Banyak nakes yang gugur karena banyak berinteraksi dengan pasien Covid-19. Akhirnya kami buat robot yang bermanfaat mengurangi interaksi tenaga kesehatan dengan pasien,”terang Abdul Wahab.
