One of the objectives of our roadtrip was to visit the migrant schools in the town of Mae Sot on the border with Myanmar. My daughter had gathered together a heap of donated clothes, toys and bric a brac as well as raising money from within our own school community to help the Burmese teachers who work at the schools teaching migrant workers' children. The teachers and families live in often desperate conditions and their lives are incredibly difficult.
This man is a headteacher at one of the schools and found the perfect pair of shoes among the donations. He was absolutely delighted with his find!
In all the pictures from Maesot I have deliberately withheld names and locations to protect those depicted.
How innocent we were just over a week ago. This is what "social distancing" looked like in the ByWard Market.
In Scotland, the first case of Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) was confirmed on 1 March 2020. On 11 March, the outbreak was declared a pandemic, and four days later the Scottish Government said everyone should avoid non-essential travel and contact with others, and work from home if possible. On 20 March 2020, schools were told to close, along with pubs, cafes and cinemas. On 23 March, a stay-at-home order was issued and the country went into lockdown. Working from home became a new way of life, and our work-life balance simply became life.
Here’s a snapshot of my life 100 days later.

In one of Jon Read's images, he PhotoShopped in some human eyes. I'm sure he wasn't the first one to ever do it... and I am very sure that I won't be the last.
I found ONE eye on one subject I had made back in 2012. I resized and positioned the eye... then cloned and flipped the eye for the other side.
