Navaratri represents celebration of Goddess Durga, the manifestation of Deity in form of Shakti

 

Basanta Navrathri, also known as Vasant Navratras, is the festival of nine days dedicated to the nine forms of Shakti (Mother Goddess) in the spring season (March–April). It is also known as Chaitra Navratra...!!

 

The beginning of spring and the beginning of autumn are two very important junctions of climatic and solar influence. These two periods are taken as sacred opportunities for the worship of the Divine Mother...!!!

The Bundelkhand in India is land of warrior and also abode of God . The people here are devoted to Goddes Maheshwari Devi. and the people ending their fast with celebration and devotional song on the last day of navratra.

Goat being chased by a dog, it was quite funny to watch. But it was surprising that goats are quite intelligent too. She made the dog wait for her by standing over this wall. The next day she was going to be a meal as it is a ritual in this part of India during the 1st day of navratras.

With this,the last day, Dusshera ends in pomp and festivel. Nine days of sanctity and devotion amalgamates at the banks of the Yamuna. Dusherra is the Hindu festival of good over evil, the day when Ram killed Ravana the king of Lanka, who had abducted Sita to lanka.
