MCW Metrobus DPH43/27F

LQT (inMotion), Dunstable

Buckingham, 6 January 2004

New to West Midlands Travel

What is now Centrebus in the Home Counties had previously traded as 'inMotion' and at one time operated a network of services in and around Milton Keynes. These routes but no vehicles were sold in 2004 to MK Metro, who formed Green Travel to operate them. Included in the sale was school contract 904 to the Royal Latin School in Buckingham, on which inMotion had operated double-deckers. The last such vehicle was this Metrobus, which was transferred from the parent fleet in Leicester in December 2003 and was here for just a couple of months as it went back there after the sale. I believe it may have been the first vehicle to carry the Centrebus name in this area.
