Today my guy and I went to our favorite used Book Store in Penticton while visiting my grandparents.
We had this wonderful and simple breakfast at this new cool bistro and thought we'd cross the street for a few finds...

Jim just got into reading COELHO's book called the "Alchemist and thought he'd try and capture the peek of the rest....
$8.00 Used and in great condition.
He also found "Interpreter of Maladies", by Jhumpa Lahiri. This is so cool because we found out this evening that this Same author is the same person that wrote "Namesake" the movie that we rented yesterday to watch over the next couple of days.
Wow, how neat these signs surface and guide us to the meaning of life. We haven't yet watched the movie and we haven't figure out what this find has to offer....
It's all about sweet Karma and blessings...

third in the series of autobiographies of Maya Angelou........I am not sure if it is the last or if there are more, but I will find out!
Em. Querido, 1995. Hans Borrebach (1903-1991) remains one of the great Dutch girls' books illustrators. Between the 1930's and the 1970's, for hundreds and hundreds of books he made very lively drawings in colour and black and white. A classic book cover illustrator.
My friend and former painting teacher Weihong came to visit me yesterday, and I gave her a copy of my book in translation. She wanted to take some pictures showing all the translations (all the ones I have at least, I am missing two) and she set this up. She had to stand on a step-ladder to get the picture. She also made a stack into what she called a "sculpture" of the books after this--see below.
