It's a pity the photograph doesn't show what the weather was like. We were blown off our feet walking across the bridge to get to Renzo Piano's building, which is a hundred times as impressive in reality.

The spiral exit ramp, which no longer looks like this thanks to VIA. There's now a "welcome to Ottawa" sign in the middle of the spiral, executed in VIA's nondescript and unappealing blue, gray, and yellow graphic language.
