The new motion controller is ready and works perfect - moves 450kg in seconds with 0,01mm precision. The box looks scary, but I managed to integrate a 4-axis controller, amplifier drive, mini ITX PC, 64 digital/analog I/Os, a wide 19" monitor, WiFi router, and even surround speakers! The HMI really rocks!
The DCDC converter board is mounted in the front.

This is it =) Took me about three days to build at a cost of $200 for parts and another $100 for tools.
Considering the following upgrades:
-New, quieter, more efficient power supply
-Strip the paint from the box to give it a brushed metal look
-If brushed metal doesn't look good, paint it
-Thinking of painting it two-tone brown to give it a faux leather or wood look
-New miniITX board and system internals when something newer comes out
-New handle (old one removed as it interfered with hard disk)
