Leaf insects and stick insects are well-known for their ability to camouflage in the forests, but recently an even more elusive species of insect has been discovered : a butterfly with wings that mimic tree leaves, with a pattern that changes season after season, so it stays camouflaged all year long.

The model shows how the butterfly looks in spring, summer, autumn and winter.

Each version of the butterfly uses about 85 pieces, and the complete model is made of 471 pieces. Each butterfly has its own independent display base, so they can be arranged in different ways.

This model was built for the Your creations in the world-famous LEGO House! contest on Lego Ideas. You can see my entry here :

This is a digital model (you can see it on Mecabricks) but I can and will certainly build it physically, regardless of the results of the contest.

After hiding this ship in the background of my Blacktron Energy Platform, I decided to play around with some space lighting and the blender compositor for this ship since it's a variation on a past build updated with some new pieces and Blacktronized.

Another one of the smaller Monster Fighters sets. This one was pretty fun to design. Especially considering I could go full blown wacky on the gyrocopter design.

Sadly there's not a horse skeleton piece in mecabricks. Fortunately I was able to recycle my horse from my nuckelavee design.

Your job as immigration inspector is to control the flow of people entering the Arstotzkan side of Grestin from Kolechia. Among immigrants and visitors looking for work are hidden smugglers, spies, and terrorists.

Using only the documents provided by travelers you must decide who can enter Arstotzka and who will be turned away or arrested.

Small Viking ship made for a microscale contest on Bricker.ru. The idea was heavily inspired by Gealdýr's music.

Contest version includes a rough base and a sea serpent; not very proud of them though.

My, my, my. What could have broken this brick?

Created with Mecabricks and Blender. You can find the model here.

Happy Halloween everyone!

Thanks to my friend Gabriele for the help with the render!

Oh noes - Geoffrey has become untethered!

Somehow forgot to post this one actually in February.

Long after the last humans have perished, and with them the supply of dairy, and eventually the stores of cheese, one little mouse skitters above ground and onto a relic of the planet's former rulers. He takes one last glimpse at the final known source of cheese, high above the planet, so close yet so far.

Built for vignweek day 3, theme was post apocalypse!

A subcompact hatch from early 70's. World (at least USA) just can't exist without ugly, but cheap cars like Ford Pinto and AMC Pacer, so I decided to make that one in my fictional universe.

Mecabricks 3D view will appear soon.

I am slowly learning how to use Mecabricks to render models. Let me know what you think! Get the instructions at rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-40120/veyniac/moai-easter-island...

Awesome MOC by dtriangle, you can view it here!

"Inspired by the short-lived Technic Arctic sets (circa 1986).

Namely, the 8640 Polar Copter set.

You can see some images of the built model here.

This model, like many of my models, uses some strange techniques to bend it's form into shape – therefore, structurally rather weak."

My entry for the Build a vintage car to cruise the streets of LEGO Modular Buildings contest on Lego Ideas. The roof can be lifted to access the inside and sit the driver. There's also room for two suitcases. The rear lights are made with Infinity Stones.

You can see the entry page here and the model in 3D on Mecabricks.

Special thanks to my friends Ignika and Loysnuva for their input.

An entry for the Lego Ideas Incredibles contest in 2018. Most of the omnidroid was actually built in ldd in 2017.

Some news: I'm planning several MOC's connected to mining in space. It can be called Astromining project. Here is the first one. Small starship with two pilots and many different mineral scaners. And the bad one: I've got some troubles with my PC so renders will be not so good for some time.

Big corporations like Octan don't have to play by the rules. They can use money and power to change things. Sadly, all it took to get their four-wheeled vehicle as today's rover was two packets of Hobnobs in Llwyngwril Systems' board room and a packet of cheap Garibadlis to the Marketing Department.

This rover was built using an old chassis and a redundant fuel tank. Its purpose was to keep the driver safely above the flammable and toxic vents of the planet Nwy.

Bee-hives and scuba flippers for the win!

I recently found my old LDD file for a hover car design I made back in 2015 www.flickr.com/photos/97574100@N05/16269559180/in/photoli... So I thought I'd export it into Mecabricks and make a few improvements. Nothing too drastic as I liked the shaping and techniques used in the original moc.

My latest character build, inspired by the iron forge seed part of minifigure legs!

Bit different from my original Mecabricks version. but I had to use that new collectible minifigures head for Johnny Thunder, it's so perfect. The boots were a great addition too

The Lego Moon to Mars Initiative. This entry won runner-up in Lego IDEAS' "Moon to Mars" contest in 2019! Essentially just a giant slingshot ;-)

This was a build I have been working on for a little while and finally got finished. I am in no way a castle builder, but I enjoy dabbling in it from time to time.

This build was inspired by two people, the first being an artist named Tuomas Korpi. I found one of his paintings while searching for inspiration and it was fantastic. A huge help in building this. The second is

Legonardo Davidy, who's build "Serenity" was also a big inspiration.

This is a render, built between LDD and Mecabricks, then rendered in Blender.

Thoughts and constructive criticism are welcome! Thanks for looking!

The Bowtie Fighter is back, rocking the stylish colors of M-Tron and sporting some all new heat sinks and a magnet attachment point.

I decided to try and recreate the box-art style of the original M-Tron sets, and I think this turned out really well. This fighter might also make it into a bunch of other classic color schemes.

Hello there! Here's a render I made of the digitally built airspeeder I made on Mecabricks (3D model may be found here: mecabricks.com/en/models/LyjWRV632Jr).

This model uses no clipping, but some of the parts may not be available in the displayed colors.

"The grid.....a digital frontier. I tried to picture clusters of information as they moved through the computer; What did they look like? Ships, motorcycles, with the circuits like freeways. I kept dreaming of a world I thought I'd never see. And then one day, I got in". Kevin Flynn

T.R.O.N has always been one of my favorites (either one really). I thought I should add a version of Kevin Flynn's bike to my collection. The model is mostly possible, with the exception of a piece at the back that may need a sticky solution (gasp, kragle!).

Thanks for looking! Also, hope everyone has had a nice Easter (and/or) Passover :)

After rewatching the Mandalorian, I was inspired to build my own Razor Crest. I didn't have the time to build it at a large scale and I wanted to be able to build it physically myself first to test the stability, but I'm pleased with the final result. Enjoy!

You can find the 3D model here: www.mecabricks.com/en/models/X8jOOnVLjYJhttps://www.mecab...

Like it's always said, this one was meant to be a quick tablescrap build to keep the pace, except there is no need to scrape parts in LDD and the table is not a thing at all... ah, well.

Tried to make something nice around those wheel arches seen from someone in 4WLC community, and while the car is not even 4-wide anymore, I think it still got that Tiny Turbos feeling. With a split rear wing (which is completely useless in terms of aerodynamics) and slight camber (only for racing purposes, I swear!), this widebody monster could be really a menace to society since a vehicle like this is so unfitting for public roads.
