A prank jump scene set up in one of the dorms at the Colorado School of Mines. We had to wait until 4:00 in the A.M. to set this up. Totally worth it.
♥♥ I love hog maws! ♥♥, and my favorite way to eat them is:
1) I tilt my head back,
2) I lay a maw across my face, and
3) I slurp the maw into my mouth handsfree, noisily and wetly.
Different U.S. people pronounce "hog maw" different ways depending upon the degree to which the talk in their respective regions exhibits the father-bother and cot-caught mergers re: vowel phonology.
For businesses to tape up paper signage outdoors and have it not be vandalized nor stolen is a signal that a neighborhood is low-crime and that its youths are contented — perhaps especially so when the signage in question is describing different kinds of porks.

St. George, Utah
While driving home from Southern Utah on Sunday my brother Tom and I nearly lost our lives. We had left our Grandparent's home in St. George only a few minutes prior to the accident. Traveling down the freeway the weather was good, there wasn't much traffic and there was no good reason the accident should have happened. Tom was driving and I was on the passenger side. After leaving home Tom and I got into an argument, which only escalated as we got further down the road. To suggest we were foolish doesn't begin to convey who stupid both of us are. We were arguing about something unimportant and yet it nearly cost us our lives. (Read more)

This is the Inspiration board I put together for my BYW class. My focus was mainly on the colours, style and feel I want for the blog, not so much about the content. Although, Calico & Co does feature interior ides, stationery finds, typography, craft and my own work [here comes the sun print] so I guess the content is represented a little as well. I just love colour at the moment along with mid-century and contemporary design that isn't fussy and over the top!

My newest obsession: Japanese masking tape. Perfect for letters, collages, & other crafty endeavors.
I really don't know how she has the patience to do this. I'd have my fingers glued to a plastic tire or something.

I'm actually happy with this photo (:
Took about 40 tries and it was freezing, the twin got a bit fed up with me ahah :P
I decided the tape on yesterday's pages didn't look quite right. There was just too much of it. Luckily, this rice paper tape is really easy to lift & reapply!
