If some of these shots from different occasions tend to look a little repetitive it's usually because I'm using the opportunity to compare different lenses in the same situations.
This time it's a Sun 135mm F/3.5, a diminutive and basic old lens but it still delivers great images and again cost peanuts, if you can get over the lack of autofocus (it's easy to do it manually when you can magnify the image on the lcd) then using old lenses is a cheap and interesting hobby!
In 1953 this table in millimeters & centimeters would of done some heads in.
Australia didn't go Metric until 1976.
The only bit I don't understand is * Turn the focussing mount of the lens, post the nearest mark distance as far as it will go.
Isn't that ∞ infinity ?
Also when they say "Multiply normal exposure by:
Is that aperture or distance on the lens?.

This is a Haynes Workshop Manual for the 1974-1983 Lada sedans and wagons. The copy pictured here is a paperback, North-American edition published for sale in Canada where the sedans were marketed as the Lada Signet. Canadian Lada imports began in 1978.
The covers on the old Haynes manuals featured elaborate cutaway drawings of the subject vehicles. Many of these were by artist Terry Davey. By the 1990's these drawing had become much less detailed. Current Haynes manuals use computer generated images of the vehicles with only a section of the hood cut to show the engine.
