A few days ago, Apple announced that there is a new application so called “Nikon Manual Viewer”. All Apple users and Nikon photographers could search for it via App store by using key words such as “manual viewer” or “Nikon manual viewer”.

As people on these Canon groups know I bang on that it is the best way to get macro shots esp and hopefully this goes some way to help to understand how to use it. This little part is a story. It's a ducted carbon fiber headlight lid for an MX-5 (very similar to the one found on my car). I designed it for an online business to sell. This is the prototype. Sadly, it doesn't fit very well on my car. It is a beautiful thing to hold in your hands though, and weighs nearly nothing.
Taken for class with dave makeup assignments, week 1.4 "lines and curves". inside the lightbox, manual macro lens used, 1/50th, f5.6, ISO 400.

My father was issued with this book when he was serving aboard HMS Despatch on the China Station. He retained it after he left the Navy a year later and I have known it from as long as I can remember. I often browsed through it as a boy, reading little but gazing at the illustrations.
