This adorable kitten is going to be 4 months old at the start of October. His initial manner is shy and skittish. But he loves to play with toys, gets along well with other kittens, and once he's been tired out with play and dinner, and the other kittens are napping - he will snuggle next to a person and give kitty kisses, purrs, all that good stuff. His shelter name is Malvolio but - that can be changed. He found a new home 15 October 2016.
That being said... I noticed on 8 March 2017 that a cat with the same name and appearance and the exact right age was up for adoption at Oregon Humane. Not that I need a 3rd cat... but I really did like this little guy... so I actually went to check him out. Learned that his previous owner turned out to have a fiance who was badly allergic, but she had kept him only indoors (OHS doesn't mind if I train him to be indoor/outdoor... but that's complicated)... and the adoption counselor said on the 8th that he was the youngest cat they had in inventory right now and that surely he would be adopted - if not by the end of that day - by the end of the weekend. He was the same "initially shy" guy, not scared of me but still retiring... and while he might like other cats, I don't know how my cats feel about this... so I left him there. Still, it is good to see that the next day their web site shows that he is "on hold". And even better that he was adopted on the 10th.

Benj Gerdes, an artist featured in "...in a most dangerous manner...", presented a 16mm film titled "Tighten Your Belts, Bite the Bullet" (1981), by James Gaffney, Jonathan Miller and Martin Lucas. The film examines the roots of the 1970s fiscal crisis in Cleveland and NYC. Participants then explored the present and future relationships between creativity, post-industrial cities, and everyday life.

Romería de San Sebastian is a pilgrimage held in Conil De La
Frontera on the Sunday nearest the 16th. Since the sixteenth century, the parishioners of Conil accompany their pilgrimage pattern each time it reaches San Sebastian. A delegation of religious origin, which currently brings together more than 20,000 people in a party that lasts until sunset in the pine forests of Colorado.
The chapel disappeared in the nineteenth century and the pilgrimage was forgotten, but almost 30 years ago, the party returned stronger than ever, turned into a day to enjoy the countryside, friends, the singing and dancing without forgetting religious devotion. Preceding the Pattern wagon is a band, and after that, several carts festooned with flowers, garlands, shawls, lanterns and coloured laces. The Andalusian pilgrims, go singing sevillanas, rumbas , dancing and drinking there merry way in an exuberant and cheerful manner. . . After a day of festivities in the pine forest I am not too sure how they return.
