Lightning's vet called and told me he doesn't have Giardia. So that's a relief. He gained a gram today and giving him half a dose of Bene-Bac every twelve hours seems to be preventing diarrhea.
In other news, I got a present from Manic Panic today! They told me they were sending me a dye kit, but didn't tell me my face was on it! Squeeeee! I got such a thrill out of it, I can't even put it into words!
I had blue hair that faded, so I put pink dye on it and it went purple! Ah, the endless magic of the colour wheel...
I'm tired and ill with the cold today :( But still vain! :D
colour and cut
cut to short pixie layered cut. using clipper work fro the nape of the neck cutting around the ears but leaving top long and choppy for diversity in styling. colouring from basic scratch as previous colour was cut out . lighten all roots to clean level 10 creating a light even base for vibrancy to stick to elongate fading time. purple haze in manic panic semi-permanent colour to achieve the desired purple tone.
Tips for preventing fading:
- Wash in cold water.
- Only wash once every three days.
- When dying, wrap hair in plastic or foil. This keeps the dye wet and active, allowing your hair to sustain more of the color.
- Apply a small amount of heat to wet dye.
- Stay out of the sun.
- Stay out of chlorine.
My hair has been purple for a couple of weeks but I haven't had a chance to upload the photos yet :)

tonight after I re-dyed my hair, I trimmed my bangs and did a lowlight of turquoise. I really love the effect.
