जेजुरी गावाच्या नैऋत्य दिशेस साधारणपणे साडेतीन किलोमीटरवर जयाद्रीच्या पठारावर कडेपठार देवतालिंग हे श्रीखंडोबाचे स्थान आहे यालाच काहीलोक जुनागड असेही म्हणतात. जेजुरीपासून दोन किलोमीटर अंतरावर डोंगराच्या कुशीत विजाळ विहीर परिसर आहे, इथपर्यंत डांबरी सडक असल्याने गाडीने जाता येते तेथून पुढे पायरी मार्गाने दीड किलोमीटर अंतर चढून गेल्यावर मंदिरात पोहोचता येते. वाटेमध्ये हेगडी प्रधान मंदिर, भगवानगिरी माठ, गणेश मंदिर व राम मंदिर लागतात.
Situated about 35 km from Hrishikesh at an altitude of 926 metres is the famous Nilkantha Mahadeva temple ( of Lord Shiva). Though situated in the northern part of India in the Himalayas, the architecture of the temple is of the South Indian style.
UNESCO World Heritage Site.

One of two statues stationed outside the entrance to the Chaakiwale Mahadev Geeta Bhawan, Mhow. Friday 22nd March 2019.
The statue is 108 feet. It was inaugurated in 2007 and the "Sthapan" was done during the Maha Shivratri period of 2008. It is also the highest known statue in Mauritius.

Himachal Pradesh - Kullu Valley - Inde
Basheshar Mahadev temple (=Shiva), à Bajaura, quelque 15km avant Kullu, quand on vient de Mandi. Le temple est isolé, à l'écart (200 m) de la route dans la direction de la rivière.
Se dressant au milieu d'un petit jardin bien entretenu, il est lui-même en excellent état, bien que datant du 8ème siècle. Sa tour-shikhara, d'un style très pur, s'élance vers le ciel. Elle est creusée, sur trois de ses faces, de niches profondes où ont pris place de grandes et belles statues de Ganesh au sud, Vishnu à l'ouest et Mahîshâsuramardinî (Durgâ ) à l'est. Du portail d'entrée, on débouche directement dans le sanctuaire central qu'habite un Shiva Lingam
Gupteswor Mahadev Cave, Pokhara, Nepal.
Hace unos 10 años un hombre de Pokhara se despertó inquieto. Vishnu se había aparecido en su sueño, indicándole el lugar preciso donde encontraría un templo natural con una figura que lo representaba; el hombre debía reabrir la entrada a ese templo subterráneo.
En el lugar indicado encontraron una inmensa y profunda cueva natural, conectada directamente con una de las salidas a Devi's Falls. Hoy para acceder hay que bajar muchísimos metros por escalones de piedra, hacia el centro de una cueva oscura y húmeda. En el primer tramo -donde se encuentra el templo- está absolutamente prohibido sacar fotos. Al segundo tramo se accede después de caminar por pasillos minúsculos donde es imposible mantenerse erguido. La segunda gran cueva da directo al lecho de Devi's Fall, las cataratas naturales cuyo nombre fue cambiado para recordar a una turista que fue arrastrada por el monzón en la década del '60.
A medida que se emprende el retorno el ascenso es cada vez más difícil, la humedad dificulta la respiración y el calor ahoga. En el primer tramo fuera de la cueva hay un descanso, con su propio altar, que invita a los visitantes a sentarse para recuperar el aire.
