Rue du Vestiaire
The first space invader I encountered in the historic center of Montpellier. I haven't prepared a 'space invader safari in advance so every find was a surprise during my walk through the historic center of Montpellier. This one is located for almost 15 years at the corner of the Rue du Vestiaire and Place de la Canourgue.

ATTACK OF MONTPELLIER
In August 1999 the historic center of Montpellier was under attack by Invader in cooperation with street artist Revs. Invader has put in total 44 space invaders with a total score of 480 points. They named this project @NONYMOUS. When you have the map of Montpellier and you connect all space invader locations with eachother on the right way the result is a…space invader.
In the Summer of 2014, a lot of space invaders are gone already. But I found 9 which are still active and some of them look still if they were put on the wall the night before.

The children were on a quest for school in the historic center of Montpellier and surprisingly this space invader was part of it as well. The second girl in pink was the lucky one to find this blue and red space invader first because we were taking photos of it.
