'If you can't change yourself, how will you change the world?' - His Holiness Younus AlGohar

I like the scene because the girls are looking to the left while the sign is pointing to the right!

How many times in our life we come to notice that we are in the wrong direction until we see a sign pointing to the opposite?

Then you know you are getting farther from your destination instead of getting closer to it!

'Everybody wants to be loved but not everybody is able to love.' - His Holiness Younus AlGohar

'If you love me, you are on my side against yourself.' - Lord Ra Riaz Gohar Shahi

'Nothing is prohibited for you as long as it doesn't block the way that leads to God.' - His Holiness Younus AlGohar

As I watched this bird intently looking for food, I was impressed by the sharp look of focus in its eyes. As it hopped over palm tree fronds and the structures of my waterfall, I caught it in mid-step. The intent look and confident hops inspired me to write the words which I hope will inspire you no matter what challenge you are facing... "Focus On Your Goal And It's Easy To Hop Over Any Obstacle Or Dip In Your Path!"

Share if you know people who could use a word of encouragement.

'Nobody can guide a stubborn self.' - His Divine Eminence Ra Gohar Shahi

this is apart of a set of pictures created of life lessons I've learned over the last year....

#3) confession: when depressed or stressed about a subject or account in my life, I sleep.

I sleep for hours, letting the day go by so I don't have to deal with it anymore. I used to game. online or private, I would game for hours until I gave up gaming almost completely (and I mean almost completely... like reserved for the weekends, periodically). now I just sleep....

a couple of days ago was a horrible day for me. family arguments, troubles with a dear friend (my life is made up of these cases for some daft reason or another), and the makings of a migraine starting in, I was just about to give in to my traditional outlet for grief and despair, when I realized what I was doing..

I was giving up.

I was letting situations define and defeat me.

and worst of all, I was wasting the time God has given me to do His work!

Instead of sleeping, I picked up two different books: The Heavenly Man (a story of a missionary's work in China. I've been meaning to read it, and a friend recently let me borrow her copy). and the Bible. I read for about 5 hours straight. when I finally looked up from my books, I realized I had been reading for hours, and now I was reading in the dark because the sun had gone down, and time had gone by with me doing something productive and positive...

everyone has their outlet for pain and grief. be that outlet Music, Gaming, Punch Dancing, or just simply smoking a traditional pipe (which I may take up soon, once I've started growing my own tobacco patch so as to cut down on pesticides).... but always question your motives. is it to work through it, or to ignore it? is it to take care of the problem, or let it build up over time?

whatever your outlet may be, or your reasons, just remember

Our truest life is when we are in dreams awake.

#2) something I've recently had to come to terms with is I am my best friend, and my most hated enemy. I know everything I think, and I very often act out upon this knowledge without stopping to think of the consequences..

I know that God should be the foremost friend in my life, but very often I feel as if I haven't been His friend.....

so it's pretty true that "sometime you are all you will have" because,

even when everyone else has left

all the lights have gone out

and you're without a soul in this world....

you still have you. you still are breathing. and you still have life.

Last night was a really crazy night for me. my dearest friend called to see how I was doing, and we talked for about 3 hours..... I love how she cares enough to take time out of her EXTREMELY busy schedule to keep up with me. she really is a blessing and a Godsend. the funniest part is we've only really known each other for about 4 months now, and I would gladly give my life for her.

it's silly I know.......

anywho! this picture basically describes how I've been before she popped into my life so unexpectedly.... it was me and me.... and we were alone, but happy to have "me" still.

once you embrace that you will be alone from time to time in your life, it doesn't hurt anymore..... you realize that you can go on with life, and make the best of things.

I'm striving to make God my closest friend, in the sense that I shall never be alone again...

but still......

Sometimes You Are All You Will Have.

A lot of things have happened lately, some were disturbing and made me change the way I thought, while others were very good and bolstered my confidence in what I've done so far.

This particular photo was the result of my brother's alarm clock going off late summer in 2009. After 20 minutes of the faint alarm waking me up, I decided to go into his room to demand he turn it off, only to realize he was already at school.

Girl, put your records on, tell me your favourite song

You go ahead, let your hair down

Sapphire and faded jeans, I hope you get your dreams,

Just go ahead, let your hair down.

Oh, you're gonna find yourself somewhere, somehow ...

Never allow someone to be your priority while you are just their option

never trust a restaurant what which places their braggery in quotes.

perhaps someone actually once said this place had

"cajun food at it's best."

but i'm pretty sure that someone might've been awfully drunk

and would've probably said the same thing if he was served

a deep fried bicycle tire.

There were two sets of hands to help this youngster up from the court floor during a YMCA basketball game. It's much like life... We are raised up with help from others around us whether they be classmates or coworkers. We also depend on God's loving hands to help pick us up when we fall.
