Graceland Cemetery. Was surprised to see a lot of what I call "athletic slab" letters on the turn-of-the-century markers. Perhaps I should now refer to the style as "gravestone slab" since it likely came first.

I've recently submitted a piece of Nachos Con Carne character art to a local art show (it's at the Percolator Artspace right now - if you're anywhere near Lawrence, KS, it's the yellow building in the alley behind the Arts Center downtown) and it has since inspired me to make some more pieces that I could probably sell as prints.

And this was one of those ideas. I'm quite proud of this one.
