Iceland has very good lamb dishes such as lamb soup; lamb meatballs; smoked lamb; leg of lamb and of course lamb chops At the Restaurant inside the Perlan, Út í bláinn, I decided to try the lamb chops. Good choice they were delicious.
My sister's office Christmas Party in 2007 was held at a wonderful little restaurant in Mesa, AZ called "Bak'd". We were served a delicious seven course meal prepared by Chef Timothy and his assistant chefs at his restaurant, which turned out to be a unique private dining experience. The gourmet food was exquisite and beautifully presented. Sam made this for our Passover meal. I don't normally eat meat and try to keep a low cholesterol diet, but he saw a lovely deal on some fresh spring lamb chops and O My.... what a treat! Bless those sweet dear Lambs! Thank you God and thank you Sam for a lovely meal. : )

GMA Showers Bring May Flowers ...
Flat Sasquatch visits GSENM and is nearly blown away by the experience.
While we were trying to get a still picture, another couple stopped for their "picture with the sign."
Approaching us, the woman asked "Is that Flat Sasquatch?"
Why yes, yes it is!
He's still on the move - the kids should enjoy seeing where he's been.

You've probably heard of Flat Stanley. He's the globe-trotting figurehead of the Flat Stanley Project (look it up) and he's been trending since... well, before there was trending.
This is a new figure from Flat Stanley's 'hood, Flat Sasquatch. He was a careful construct from Mrs M's classroom and at the end of the school year was destined to be (gasp!) thrown away. This couldn't happen... So, like Flat Stanley before him, Flat Sasquatch went traveling.

Wow, what a day. I woke up at 6 AM in Queenstown and drove all the way to Milford Sound. Milford Sound is perhaps the most beautiful and stunning place I’ve ever been. I couldn’t believe the different types of terrains/micro climates I experienced from Queenstown to the sound. Outside of Queenstown is mostly fields and dry areas. As you approach Fiorland National Park the elevation increases and along with it the vegetation. Once you get within a few miles of the coast and Milford Sound, the climate turns into an almost rainforest like feel with lush vegetation, mist everywhere and even parrots. I couldn’t resist only putting only one daily HDR photo up so today two photos are going up. This photo was taken just south of Queenstown. Everyone should go to Milford Sound and New Zealand. Peter Jackson had it right when he decided to attract hollywood to New Zealand’s majestic landscapes.
TIP - I took this photo at 7:30 AM. Sunrises usually make for some interesting sunlight. Yes, I know I hate getting up early too but it does pay off!
