Did I miss a memo or something? I saw a few Labyrinth cosplayers this year and photographed one other one.

In Hogsback, South Africa. It was just recently established when we got there so the shrubs are not too high yet.

One of 270 unique enamel artworks by Mark Wallinger placed at each station on the London Underground. 'Emboss' type labyrinth. Oxford Circus, 23rd October 2015.

The Labyrinth is an ancient symbol meant to cement the relationship between the natural world and art with just one path to the center of the maze and one path of return. The sidewalk on which it was painted is a crossroads of the community garden, the Time Landscape, and the massive sculpture entitled “Sylvette” by Pablo Picasso. Entering the Seed Labyrinth, one slows down taking notice of nature in this busy city.

A labyrinth and the Derwent Valley seen from the memorial to the Sherwood Foresters at Crich Stand, Derbyshire, UK.

Sarah and Jareth from Jim Henson's "Labyrinth," steampunk style (which is pretty close to what they were in the movie, I guess).

Bought by a gallery owner showing my work. I love the dimensionality.

2008 Winter Solstice Lantern Festival in Vancouver, BC at the Roundhouse Community Centre in Yaletown

LABYRINTH OF LIGHT

The labyrinth has long been used for meditation, prayer and sites of ritual in various cultures around the world. Created with over 700 pure beeswax candles, the winter solstice labyrinth invites you to warm yourself in a self-guided ceremony intended to help release old attachments and envision new possibilities as the darkest night of the year births a new season.

Performers in The Venus Labyrinth, a performance-installation in which 28 rooms, each representing one of the 28 known areas of the human brain, are occupied by one woman. The audience member enters the labyrinth alone and then, dependent on which object they choose from a selection before them, embarks upon a completely unique journey, travelling deeper into the building, but also deeper into their own mind and memories than they may have been before.

It comes to the Arches on 20 - 25 July 2010.

The medieval streets, perfectly preserved are labrinth-ine(?). Very maze-like, in any event :-)

this labyrinth was a secret spot until it was featured in Sunset magazine last month.
