The Port of Tilbury London Police is a small, specialised police force responsible for policing the Port of Tilbury. Previously known as the Port of London Authority Police, at over 200 years old, it is the oldest police force in the country.
Jurisdiction is limited to the port area itself, but if pursuing a person from the port area they maintain their powers for that purpose throughout the UK.

The Sacramento photographers group met at Rancho Cordova Library over the weekend for a class in techniques in light painting (no steel wool, only LED's). I took some of the shots and blended them in Photoshop for an extra dramatic and fun feel. A dramatic departure from my previously posted moody, misty Yosemite photos for sure!
FJ12KRE Leicestershire Police Vauxhall Astra Spotted outside De Montfort Hall in Leicester for the Caribbean Carnival on Saturday 4th August 2012
Yes I'm working on a catchier name for this.
Shielding the LED's is next on the to-do list, damn things are blinding, then I can show you the ceiling...
A Mercedes Sprinter POV from Surrey Police seen blocking off a road in Chelmsford City Centre for a EDL march.

This is my Father-in-Laws lantern that he used in the coal mines of Northeast Pennsylvania. He was born in 1901 and died in 1989. He started picking slate when he was 10 years old and he had black lung disease for most of his life. This antique dates back to the 1920’s. As you can plainly see it still works well. He contributed most of his tools to the Greater Hazleton Historical Society and Museum, but my wife kept his lantern and miner’s safety helmet. This old style piece reminds me of Diogenes, the Greek Cynic philosopher. Tradition ascribes to him the famous search for an honest man conducted in broad daylight with a lighted lantern. He would have found such a man in my Father in Law deep in an Anthracite coal mine near Hazleton Pennsylvania, my home town.

Many thanks to the officer and Essex Police for allowing me in to take photos.
One of Met Police's newer SEG bikes seen heading up to Trafalgar Square on blues along with 2 other bikes. A 4th bike, went over Westminster bridge also on blues. The weird thing is, they were not escorting anyone.
Explanation of the light leak: If you follow me on Instagram you'll already know I had to replace my Canon A1 body as the LED's stopped working in my old one (stopped showing the light reading and I used it as a light meter for my Rollei, so it was essential I could see the figures). As it turns out, this new body has a leaky back. The spongy outline on the back of the camera is torn/not tight enough so light gradually leaks in creating big red streaks and white/brown 'fog' around the outside of the photographs. The light leaks are by NO MEANS intentional (I have a small personal hatred towards any people who edit light leaks in) and I was very upset as several photographs were completely ruined by my new camera's mechanical fault. Naturally, I spent about an hour sulking, followed by another hour of torturing myself over what the photographs WOULD have been had there not have been disgusting light damage all over it. So anybody asking me how I 'edited' these in, prepare yourself for a reasonably blunt-borderline-abusive reply because I was very upset and it'll piss me off more than when people normally ask me how I edit.
Anyway, that is all.
Seen responding northbound on the A12, Boreham, Essex. 99.9% sure its not Essex Police. My first thought was Met Police Robbery Squad. The other vehicles match what they use as well. Poor lighting and lack of uniform on the driver is also similar. Any help will be useful!
This was followed shortly after by a unmarked Astra, Insignia and Volvo S60. Only managed shots of this and the Insignia due to poor vehicle lighting and quiet sirens.

The buildings were lit up with LED's in some interesting patterns. When we last saw Hong Kong in 2009, they had the laser show at night, but did not have these illuminated buildings. When we first visited Hong Kong in 1991, there were many, many, electric lights of the older kind. (Kinda miss those...)
One of DPG's older ARV's seen responding the around Parliament Square, London after cutting the wrong way round.

A styrofoam base with LED's underneath the cracked stone part to light it up.
A few years ago, Onyx.5 on BZPower made some art of Tahu. It was pretty minimalistic, but the style looked amazing to me, so I got permission, and he said I could use the art as inspiration for a few projects. I plan on doing a costume of this character eventually, but for now, I am working on an action figure with diorama. He's fully sculpted, but I still need the paints to finish him. You can see him in the third photo, but I'm going to wait to take closeups until it's painted.
Here's the topic for the original art.
