Many years ago I thought nothing of purchasing anything made of plastic. Looking at this image of plastic straws, I am reminded that it is up to each and every one of us to make significant changes to our lives if we care about our Earth and those who will live long after we have left this planet.
In my mind, this image has gone from one of captured beauty to one as a reminder that I need to be aware of my part in protecting Mother Earth.

I love wondering about the world around me. Thank goodness for falling down the rabbit hole of an abundance of information to be found online.
If you're interested, today I learned that on average, a strawberry has about 200 seeds on its external membrane.

I saw this beautiful display of homegrown tomatoes at a local grocery store today. Being a foodie (and a photographer) I had to stop and take a photo. There's nothing like a fresh juicy tomato! And you better believe I bought a couple too. 😁

KNOWLEDGE is the topic for Wed Jan 13 2021 Group Our Daily Challenge.
This guy was clever enough to grab the nuts that park visitors were feeding squirrels with, before a squirrel could spot them, which is a sign of knowledge.
Wikipedia says:
Ravens and crows are among the most intelligent birds. For example, they show in experiments the ability to plan complex actions. When hiding food, they show both great memory skills and the ability to empathize with others. A raven seems to know that a food hiding place is only safe if it is not observed while hiding. In addition, ravens show an amazing learning behavior (making tools, using road traffic to crack nuts and fruits....
I have little or no knowledge of mushrooms, so I don't even know this one, whether it is edible or poisonous, but it caught my attention during a walk through the forest. It's delicious for photography.

Jesus came to bring spiritual LIFE to the spiritually dead and set the captives FREE! FREE from RELIGION, ERROR and outright LIES, so WE might serve THE LIVING GOD! In SPIRIT and in TRUTH!
So you'll KNOW, and not think you're to bad for God to love. The Christian LIFE isn't about how good WE are, because NONE of us are! It's about how GOOD JESUS IS! Because JESUS LOVES US, so much he died in our place and took the punishment for all of our sins on himself. The wages of sin is DEATH, and Jesus took the death WE so richly deserved for us and died in our place. The good news is, there's no more punishment for sin left. WE, you and I were all born forgive as a result of the crucifixion of God himself on the cross that took away the sins of the whole world. All we have to do is believe it, and put your Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. That my friends is REAL UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! YOU ARE LOVED. ❤️ ✝️ ❤️
