Stevns Klint is a UNESCO World Heritage Site because it is the best place in the world to experience the traces of the asteroid that hit Earth 66 million years ago. The asteroid put an end to more than half of all life on the planet - including the dinosaurs.
Møns Klint are a 6 km stretch of chalk cliffs along the eastern coast of the Danish island of Møn in the Baltic Sea. Some of the cliffs fall a sheer 120 m to the sea below.
The area around Møns Klint consists of woodlands, pastures, ponds and steep hills.

Na een korte beklimming worden we beloond door het echte werk. Een wandeling tot de voet is net wat te heftig, maar van boven krijgen we toch ook een mooi beeld van de rotsformaties.
