SEATTLE, WA-- On Friday, September 16, 2016, hundreds of people marched through downtown Seattle in solidarity with the Indigenous water protectors stopping construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline. This event was part of a #NoDAPL week of actions in support of the Standing Rock Sioux in North Dakota.
Thousands of people from over 200 Native Nations have gathered at Sacred Stone Camp in North Dakota to stop the Dakota Access Pipeline. If built, the Pipeline would carry crude oil upstream of the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation. Construction of the pipeline has already begun in some areas and has damaged sacred sites.

Climate activists gathered on June 14, 2023 at Brooklyn Borough Hall for a teach-in and art action highlighting successful initiatives implemented this year to combat the climate crisis, reduce consumers' energy expenses, and expose the obstructive climate hypocrisy of National Grid and ConEdison at both the city and state levels. Demonstrators went to the streets at the nation's capital to protest in front of the White House, calling on the decision makers in Washington DC to support the transition to renewable energy instead of coal, oil and gas energy.

On Saturday, August 6, hundreds of Richmond residents and people from all over the Bay Area came together to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of the 2012 Chevron Refinery explosion and fire that sent over 15,000 people to the hospital.
Community members marching from Richmond Bart, Kayak-tivists landing at Keller Beach, Street Murals and a public art installation (The Fenceline Project) all converged at the gates of Chevrons' Refinery in Richmond, CA.
The message to Chevron - "we REFUSE another 120 years of violence on our bodies, our communities, our air."
“120 years of broken promises, no accountability, profit at the expense of our health and climate. Our health is not for sale!”
