It's hard for me to comb through all my trip photos. Occasionally I'll go back and find a few gems. I like this shot of this incredible rock formation in Scottsdale, Arizona. I took this on my first morning walking around and dealing with jetlag. * I replaced the sky.
Jetlag meant I was up at silly-o'clock, and the only place I could find open at this ridiculous time was on the M5 motorway: Gloucester Services Southbound. This was the view of the Painswick Hills at the rear of the modern services-building with its grass-covered roof.
Même si j’essaie de l’ignorer
Tu es toujours là dans mes pensées..
.... is so jetlagged, so jetlagged

Seen this morning just before we left our motel at Waiouru. The snow on the mountain looked recent and the ground was frosty. Going to bed now. Still getting over jetlag that wakes us at 4 am.
Worked again today. With a jetlag in my head and flu patients in front of me and regularly thinking back to that fantastic trip to Siberia. Wonderful hours of PP to go with all the beautiful impressions. This photo was taken on the ice at Bugul'deyka, just before we arrived at Lake Baikal. On the way the sights are amazing. And of course it is also a great party for black and white enthusiasts!
Cityjet Avro EI RJX " Scattery Island " in its special unique Leinster rugby livery as proud sponsor of the team, Cityjet used this type of aircraft on services from Dublin to London City & Paris.
Since returning from Europe I've gotten out of bed everyday before 5 AM. These sunrise views and plenty of extra time for The New York Times are the better side of jetlag.
Walking along the many canals in the heart of historic Amsterdam is helping me get over the jetlag hump.
Polynesian dance and music group Maeva at the Tong Tong Fair.
A visit to Asia & the Pacific without the jetlag!
The Tong Tong Fair (1959) in The Hague is the biggest Eurasian fair in the world. The event is a sensory stimulating blend of cultural festival, exhibition and food fest rolled into one, held in an archipelago of tents and stands. In 2018 it will take place for the 60th time. One of the biggest attractions is the Tong Tong Festival, with hundreds of performances spread over 11 days. The daily entry ticket for the Tong Tong Fair also includes a theatre pass for the Tong Tong Festival.
So, if you don’t have the time or money to travel all the way to Southeast Asia, come to the Tong Tong Fair in The Hague and imagine that you are in the East. The Tong Tong Fair comprises the immense Grand Pasar, the famous East-West exhibition with hundreds of stands offering Eastern merchandise and food. Many of the exhibitors come all the way from Indonesia especially for the event; a growing number come from Vietnam and Malaysia. Equally famous is the Food Court with dozens of restaurants and ‘warungs’; it is one of the biggest of its kind in Europe.
Just a little light and shadow play.
I was too incoherent from jetlag to remember the exact part of the British Museum this was taken, but it was a wonderful way to show off all the bas relief tablets.
I'll be making my rounds in your streams slowly but surely.
Before anyone asks: this effect is not Photoshop. hahaha
I did some adjustments to make the plane more visible and I played with the colors, but the effect is not fake. I made a transparent plane origami, put it in the water and added some ink. Just like my picture Sinking In from some days ago.

I made it for the #FlickrFriday challenge and the theme for this week is #JetLag.
I suffered from jet lag many times when I was living in Australia (12/13hs time difference from Brazil). And I wanted an image that could show the disorientation that I felt during the jet lag period but also something vibrant that would represent how exciting is to travel!!!
So I really like the way it turned out!!! =D
Thanks a lot for all the great comments and faves on my photostream, Flickr Friends! I really appreciate it!
Hello again...I'm back from South Africa and recovering from my jetlag. Thank you for all your kind messages and thoughts for my Mom. We had the most wonderful and special time together...memories that I will treasure always.

So, the flight had been an utter failure. I had however beaten jetlag, woo. Following a total laze-about whilst the sun went down, I looked in wonder at the skyline- so very different from anywhere I'd ever been.
Here I was in Hong Kong. Staring out of the window of my hotel, across the harbour to what I believe is North Point. I really liked the crane-barges, although they were hard to capture, considering they were bobbing about. Just luck, in the end.
This was not my first night shot by far, but unfortunately the light pollution mixed with some hazy fog really made for some awful photographs.

China, April 2016: A trip of a lifetime that turned into a nightmare. A pre-flight check of a miserable birthday and feeling sad about my ex. A terrible flight with a panic attack. Finally, 12 days in China filled with missed opportunities and crippling depression.

It seems being a private #plane #pilot has its perks.
I mean if I have to see this sort of views whenever I'll #fly a plane, I may endure the #jetlag :)
But then I can't take photographs as I'm overwhelmed with piloting a plane so I would gladly be just a back seat passenger ;)

It had been several years since I went up to the city for any sort of cityscape shooting. However, I found myself awake at 3am due to jetlag and I decided to check the San Francisco webcams for weather conditions. Unexpectedly, low fog graced the Golden Gate Bridge while high clouds began streaming in off the coast. I thought to myself, this may be the opportunity to finally catch the coveted conditions of low fog with high cloud burn. In the end, it was still a success but not as ideal as I would have liked. During my drive up to the city, the fog got higher, shrouding the bridge deck. There was even a period when the entire bridge became engulfed in fog. Luckily when the light was near its best the fog revealed bits of both north and south towers to complete the scene with high clouds. Even though I wanted a scene with bridge deck exposed, it was still a beautiful sunrise and still leaves me with something to look forward to.
I went on a morning outing with some good friends. One of them was visiting from the UK. It was so good to spend time with them in the great outdoors!
Our friend from the UK found that he had jetlag so Brenda and I went on to Carburn Park for a short walk!
Thanks for your views, faves and comments. They are greatly appreciated!
My first morning in Canada. And the worst experience of jetlag ever - never before I struggled so much to get some sleep. So as soon as it started to get light, I went out to look at the sunrise. As we were based in Oxtongue, on the shore of Oxtongue lake, we couldn't ask for a better location.
Picture with my first digital camera, but pretty happy with the way this one came out - the jetlag made it a very early wake up with this sunrise as a result

Returned last night from a cross country business trip. It would have been nice to have this much room, on my flights.

Another work trip, another round of jetlag, another chance to see this most amazing of harbours from my hotel room at dawn. Just glorious. Makes the start of each day a positive thing...
There are worse ways of overcoming jetlag than walking in the wonderful ecological reserve of Buenos Aires, Costanera Sur! Especially under today's bright blue sky.
Bog Sage - what an ugly name for this pretty plant! - was in full Autumn Flower. Salvia uliginosa is native to this region. Its visitor isn't. Syritta pipiens, Thick-thighed Hoverly, is European but somehow made it to South America. Regardless, it's apparently at home here and finds succor in Salvia's sky-blue flowers.
It's been a while since I uploaded. I've been so busy lately, which is good, and I'm hoping to be taking another trip up to Tonwsville after Christmas so I will definitely have so much more to upload.
To update you all on what's been happening lately, I graduated from grade 10 last friday and had my formal on Monday, I've been busy organising things for christmas, packing for my trip, cleaning my room and de-cluttering everything in preparation for the next two years of hard study ahead, and a lot of events have happened, both good and bad, that have proved to me just how quickly things can change.
Within an instant, you can feel the most powerful emotion. Sadness, disappointment, happiness. Whatever it may be, it only takes a split second, and I've learnt to appreciate everything while you can, because it could change at any moment.
I spent the day with one of my best friends Chloe, roadtripping and shopping and talking and taking photos everywhere. We had heaps of fun and you should expect to see a few more photos in days/weeks to come. This is a bit different to anything I usually shoot, but that's good and I'm really happy with the photos from the day!
In case I don't upload beforehand, I want to say to all of you, have a wonderful Christmas and amazing New Year!
Model is Chloe.

Terug van een drieweekse vakantie en dankzij de jetlag al vroeg wakker, dus in de gelegenheid om in "eigen achtertuin" een mooie zonsopkomst te zien!
